Are you enjoying school?

This question is for all levels of education.

I went to College for 4 years and so glad to be over it. Hated it every year. Life is so much better after.
Been a graduate for over a decade and a half, happy to be done.

Went to school.
That was not for me. Applied for IT jobs and climbed up the ladder over the years.
Now working good jobs.

I believe that school, especially elementary school, teaches you a lot of useless stuff.
I'm not saying there isn't a good aspect to it, because there definitely is.

I disagree to an extent. I think elementary teaches you a lot of fundamentals that are basic requirements everyone should know.

If anything, I think highschool is more of a waste.

Highschool should narrow down your career path more.

I went to a single semester of college and realized you don't get rich with a degree.

Dropped out after my first semester college. Never understood why and never will understand why you can not pay to focus solely on what you are aiming for.
We actually the answer is money. Worked my way up to where I am now, not happy, but doing well with the checks.

All a college degree shows is you are willing to torture yourself for four years to show dedication.

Like I said, some aspects of it are great.

However, you definitely learn a lot of things that are not necessary.
Then again, it varies from country to country.
So, it's a challenging debate, because the education system in my country may differ significantly from yours.

Some jobs require that degree.

That also depends on where you are from.

Being a lawyer requires the knowledge some states don't allow you to take the bar without going to college.

Not really. I mean since HS started our class was demolished and now only contains 10+ students. I go to other ,more useful for me in the future, courses so it just compensates it(with the rare exception of me having few friends). ✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿

Never forget the importance of the degree from high-school.

Indeed.

But in my country, we do not have states and such.
It varies significantly from country to country.
However, there are probably a few jobs where a degree from school is a must.

And then school is a great option!
But for me, school didn't make me money.
