Not surprised anymore, what a wonderful example for her children right? now they might possibly grow older and think the same behavior is acceptable.

We actually do, I live in rural America, and I couldn't even tell you how many times I have had to do defensive driving because these dumbasses don't know how to drive or hold their lane, it is too much to count.
It is extremely easy to get a license here, the drivers test does not even in the slightest show your roads skills, it took me 3 minutes to get my license , only recently did they now make it a requirement for vision screening when renewing so you either have to pass a vision test at the licensing regional office or have a waiver signed by an eye doctor.
So at least with the vision screening it will cut down on the ones with very high vision impairment from driving.
I believe we might need to start incorporating defensive driving classes as a requirement for new drivers, also there is many states that allow undocumented/illegal immigrants to obtain a drivers license, this needs to stop, if you are not in the US legally then you should not have any legal rights to drive, excluding those who are protected under DACA.

Where I live you have to get 97% just to pass your first of three tests. The first time I sat it I got 96%.

In my state the requirements are or at least were written test, score at least 80% to pass 40 questions (I scored 99%) to receive a permit. Then depending on a few different things you may or may not have to do an intermediate stage. Me I was able to skip intermediate and go to full unrestricted license.
