Hi, i was wondering if someone could suggest me a good messaging application that is really secure in terms of privacy. I know WhatsApp has a good end to end encryption but is known for having backdoors and lots of metadata that can potentially violate the privacy. Telegram as far as i know, now is quite the same as WhatsApp.. Signal is good enough I think but they thread to leave EU if the chat control law will pass. It's just a curoisity but anyone knows some private messaging app or way to communicate with other that is not short range like bitchat?

I have never used it because I don't have a need, but there is keybase. It sounds pretty legit I think.

WhatsApp has had vulns, but apps with smaller userbases are less likely to be targeted. Telegram is not good for privacy. One new secure messaging app that I was told about recently is Ameeba. Don't know how good it is.
