Screen Lock Builder

What it does?

Screen Lock Builder lets you generate a portable .exe that locks the user’s screen with your own message and rules (e.g., disable Task Manager, block Command Prompt, and optional auto-close at a specific date/time).

This project is really old — I released the first version back in 2015.

Starting fresh — this new version is coded in C# (the old one was in VB.NET).

How to use

How to use

These files have to be in same folder: ScreenLockBuilderV2.exe and ScreenLockStub.exe
Do not remove ScreenLockStub.exe, if you remove it you cant create new ScreenLock file!

(1) Put ScreenLockBuilderV2.exe and ScreenLockStub.exe in the same folder.

(2) Run ScreenLockBuilderV2.exe.


Set

• Password (required)
  


• -Lock screen message (optional;”)
  


• -Executable name (e.g., LockScreen)
  

(Optional) Toggle features:

• Auto-startup (run on system boot)
  


• Disable Task Manager
  


• Block Command Prompt
  


• (Optional) Auto-close:
  


• Tick “Enable auto-close”
  


• Enter a date/time when the lock screen should close automatically.
  


• Click Create. The builder generates your lock executable (named from “Executable name”, e.g., LockScreen.exe)

Well its easy to remove, and software is not designed or intended to be used as ransomware. But yeah i know people use wrong these kind programs.

Actually, I’ve created a web-based encrypted chat. However, it’s still a work in progress and I’m not sure if I’ll release it. If I do, it will be made available in such a way that the buyer or user could easily set up their own encrypted chat server without any special skills. That has been the main idea of the project – the whole package would be so well-designed that anyone could deploy an encrypted chat, for example, on a VPS or even on their own computer, just like that. :)
