I think anything with good fundamentals and utility can be a good investment.
Time in the market > Timing the market. If you aren't investing, it almost doesn't matter as long as you avoid meme coins or brand new alt coins. Just invest and be patient. It works. For short-term gains, it's hard to say, but I would scroll through ongoing negotiations between govs & private companies, as well as comments about future regulation (or no regulation). I don't try to time crypto. I look for channels of support & resistance and base buy/sell action on that if I need to. Overall I try to buy with the mindset that I shouldn't check prices for a few years at a time, or at least not make big decisions. If you need cash quick, it's hard to invest in the first place. Don't over-invest. Whether you have $10, $100, or $10,000 ... Make sure you are willing to lose all of it. That's the best way to have the resolve needed to survive crashes, keep investing, and stay happy.
To be honest with what has unfolded in the recent years and specially last couple of days.
I don't think you should go into crypto short term. I mean you can, but it's so volatile that you'll left looking for right timing for in or out and if you're inexperienced. You'll end up panic selling it. So invest long-term in coins that yoh believe will add value 5-10 years from now. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana are few I see surviving and being valuable long-term. Long term investing in projects with real fundamentals and proven utility is the most sustainable approach. Timing the market rarely works out but staying consistent and patient usually does. Thanks for the honest and valid advice.
This is a common question that’s always asked in this section. There’s thousands of cryptocurrencies that have different ideas and goals involving TPS, privacy, Web3, ai and more. But there’s also charts to prove whether they continue to grow in the long term.
The only ones so far that’s been going ATH this year: BTC BNB OKX All other cryptos either slightly went past ATH or never surpassed their original. The market feels completely saturated for new crypto being launched everyday. |
