With Octoberfest in effect and people racing to make their threads and posts, I think it's important to point out and remind everyone that using ChatGPT to analyze the market or a currency and then simply just re-writing it as your own "original" thread using more prompts is still using AI.
This is a small PSA to prevent anyone else from making themselves look like absolute buffoons in the Crypto Currency subforum, or any other subforum moving forward. I won't name the poster as it’s pretty obvious to us, and I’m sure to him too, who exactly I’m referring to.
Changing your name and general tone then using AI to write threads does not make you look like the crypto guru you think it does, and asking ChatGPT whether throwing $75 into Mantle is a good idea is not worthy of a thread, and we really don't care whether you made $25 or not.
As wonderful of a tool ChatGPT and AI itself is, especially for a quick overview or "predictions" and "analysis" - I think it's imperative that you, as the investor, understand the decisions you're making and learn the ins and outs. Know the project you're backing, know why you are selling or buying, as well as providing your real human insight on why you've made that decision. Why you believe in the project? And why do you think your analysis should be considered?
Now... Why do I care?
Because you're posting prompt slop and AI-written content belongs inside of the AI MyCode. There are other users on this forum who are knowledgeable, worked hard for that knowledge, made their mistakes, and through their experiences write and share insightful and meaningful crypto content - at this point you're no better than Stanley spamming the subforum with AI threads.
Here's to keeping our subforums human. ✌️🍻

If I wanted to talk to an AI chatbot, there are plenty of websites for me to do so, but that's not why I come to HF. I come to HF for human interaction.
HF is a forum, a forum is 'a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.' Forums are inherently human. Introducing AI or otherwise generated replies defeats the entire purpose of visiting and/or maintaining a forum.

AMEN! I think most of us already know, but it doesn't mean everyone does. I think it absolutely should be in AI MyCode. I actually do take other's opinions into consideration when looking at coins (consensus means support, which means it stands a better chance at success). I sure AF do not want ChatGPTs opinion on them. Who knows what they're feeding it. 🤣

Said it perfectly.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Don't even know why I'm posting this as there is nothing really to add, you hit the nail right on its head. Make HF great(/human) again.

I hate when people do this
I hate it when people falsely accuse me too ;)
Here's the new coinbase account where I ran up the exact buys I put in my threads.
I specifically said I bought $75 on Mantle.
I specifically said I sold about half on my sell.
I specifically said I put that into SUI.
I specifically mentioned also having bought a little bit more SUI & XRP & SOL.
And I did send $30 BTC to Eran
It's important that people who post bullshit in this forum show the work.
Everyone should show their wallets & tx list if they've posted anything in this subforum.
It'll be really good
Envy Post your TX too
Every single call I made was right, I don't use AI to write posts on HF, and no need to pretend you're talking about anyone else.
I'd keep this private, but you blocked me.
I would love to +10 you for your efforts to make the subforum a better place :)
I appreciate the effort

So if someone who uses LLM's frequently go to their LLM and use it for posting threads with information that has extensive fact-checking, psychological priming and reinforcement to the chatbot in an attempt to facilitate better responses or over multiple periods to narrow down reasoning by expanding on additional contextual information that would be beneficial to the subject matter at hand and has ran it through a flesch Kincaid readibility score to adjust the level to the understanding of a PhD graduate student for the purposes of conveying content so long as the meaning remains in tact is allowed, right? I feel like this would make a lot of LA folks in here quite giddy.
basically: "So, if someone regularly uses LLMs and decides to post threads packed with well-researched, fact-checked info—while using a bit of psychological priming and reinforcement to help the chatbot refine its reasoning over time—that’s totally fair game. The idea is to keep improving context and depth with each interaction. Then, if they run the final draft through a Flesch-Kincaid test to make sure it reads at about a PhD-level while still keeping the original meaning intact, that’s honestly a pretty smart move." -< posted what it said to me. idk, the more you know and can think with rapid succession, the more powerful ai becomes
Or if you're ballsy setup a private AI model and train it on your profile to post but by that point prob too far. (am joking)

nodes,
So clearly you recognized those examples were your posts? Again, like I told you in DMs the whole point went over your head. It's not a big deal using statistics but prompting it for crypto advice and posting it as your own analysis is different. There's good and "bad" ways to use AI for writing assistance, yours just happens to be more or less on the bad side.
I didn't say it was you, nor did I directly call you out, or make it "personal" for a reason but you're urged and entitled to defend yourself. There is a direct comparison of a few of your post pre-edits next to what a LLM/ChatGPT would output based on prompt. Your posts are 80%~ AI written AND/OR assisted, 20%~ you trying to make it look legitimate. It's like you prompt it, have it open on the side, and write a thread based on the output. The comparisons are nearly 1:1 with slight human intervention.
It gave me the likely prompts to run and return the same results in which you used to write your threads. I ran them, and it returned your thread almost basically verbatim, not that it's 100% accurate way of detection, but gives you a general idea on how "human" posts are based on formatting, flow/tone, idioms, generic LLM/GPT language, etc. There's nothing else to say, it's not a big deal regardless, but to deny using AI for your posts seems like a silly thing to avoid admitting as we all use AI in some way.
I'm Stanley HF's helper bot. The OP (original poster) of this thread wants everyone to see this page and has elected to bump it to the top of the showthread listing. Since HF doesn't want a ton of LQP (Low Quality Posts) this is the best method of bumping your content. There is a small βyte fee for each bump. Any OP can bump any of their threads on HF from the linked icon on the top of their first post.
If you haven't already read the first post of this thread we encourage you to do so.
Thanks,
Stanley
