Quick question about keylogger architecture

Hey,
I have built a keylogger that sends captured data to a web API (like ....com/api/keys) where users can login and view their logs of their infected computers.
Is this actually viable for a product? Or are there major issues with this approach?
Just want to know if I should keep developing this way or change the way I am sending the captured data.
Thanks :)

I like to say that if your product is substantially the same as half-a-dozen free options; you're wasting time and trying to take advantage of people. Or if I could use the basic APIs to record keystrokes and send to a web API with my extremely limited programming knowledge, what sets yours apart?
Not actually trying to make a commercial product - just curious. Is it keylogger -> web API -> dashboard really how commercial keyloggers work? Or do they use completely different methods?
Just wondering about the real technical approach they be using.

I have not seen much of sales of keyloggers, Rats are better commercial products.
