It's already about to be October, but we do still have a few big game releases coming before we get into next year. So whether it's a game that releases sometime during the rest of 2025, or a game that we wont be getting until 2026, which one or more are you most excited about? Thinking about it now, I don't believe I personally have a singular game that I'm most excited for. Rather, I'm really excited about a multiple of games.
The games in the remainder of 2025 that I'm most looking forward to are Ghost of Yotei and The Outer Worlds 2. I may or may not dabble in some Black Ops 7 as well, but I wouldn't say I'm that excited for it. CoD hasn't hit the same for me in a long time.
As for 2026, well we don't know what all will even end up releasing throughout the year yet, but for those that as of right now we do know are supposed to release and I'm most excited for, we have GTA 6, Resident Evil Requiem, 007 First Light, Fable, and Lords of the Fallen 2. I very well may be missing something and there will no doubt end up being 1-2 more games that release next year which I'm really hyped for, but that we just don't know are releasing then yet. For now though, this is what my most anticipated games are looking like.
I am most excited for:
- Crimson Desert
- 007 : First Light
- GTA 6

Well GTA 6, but we all know it wont release in the next decade lol
The risk of not taking risk is riskier than comfort.
Never Deal Off-Site!
Fable. That's it. Mic drop
Assassins Creed Black Flag is getting a remake or remaster. I've really been looking forward to that.
Other than that, I can't get excited for COD anymore as it gets a new game every year. Can't think of any other games that I am looking forward to.

Same here. I’m down for any new AC release as long as it brings back that classic vibe.
I’ve played Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage, and even Shadows but none of them seem to hit like the older ones did.
Also super hyped for Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Forza 6. Those are definitely on my radar.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Origins was alright, it kept going further downhill afterwards. Odyssey and Valhalla were two that I was most hyped about in the entire series and I felt so bored playing. I heard the remake of black flag will have the removal of you going back to present time and wondering the corporate building which I'm completely fine with as long as they don't ruin anything else.

While Origins and Odyssey at least had storylines you could connect with, but Valhalla and Mirage really missed the mark in that aspect, at least for me.
And honestly, when it comes to the modern-day segments, AC3 absolutely nailed it, it's easily one of the best present-day storylines we’ve had in the entire series.

I loved how supposedly the earlier games were built using real people from that timeline. They made it so historical. They went a little off the rails with that lightning sword at the end of unity lol.
Looking to see how GTA 6 will be.

It seems we've got to wait a few years for that.

You think we will get ES6 by 2040?

I’m guessing we’ll probably see it around 2026-2027.
If Microsoft hadn’t spent so much time on Starfield, we might’ve actually gotten it a bit earlier.

When was it set to release?

Yes indeed. Not to mention the pesky lawsuits.
