Anonops IRC is maybe the best and mot active you are gonna get
not sure how active is nowadays. in the 2010s it was very active.... you could maybe look for some in EFnet but i believe most will be private

First time that I've heard of someone using IRC in many years, I'd say. It's an old, insecure protocol. This is also too much like asking for competing forums.

I havent seen anyone in ages mention it and AnonOPs is a shell of its former self but ya got me wanting to go download IRSSI and pop in there again to see if its still alive.

It's been 10-12 years since I popped in their server though, clueless what it's like now in all honesty. But even back then IRC was pretty much dying and every server I was at least in was losing activity in favor of other apps.

I was a little too young to be around for IRC chats, but everyone pretty much moved to Telegram/Signal/other places. Or here.

IRSSI definitely best client hahaha
yeah i havent been in anonops since the same time.... is it still lots of new bloods asking dumb questions haha. might have to check it out again just for nostalgia

Haven't heard of IRC in forever - following
