Not sure why I want to be on some platform that is nothing but a scam, daily I get messages from fraudsters pretending to be recording companies etc, I had some fun with the dude from Sony Records, lmao, but ya what a waste of time...
Ya, I can not do it, it ruined my page :(

Here’s how to remove a repost from your SoundCloud profile (works both on desktop and mobile browser):
🖥️ On Desktop (soundcloud.com)
Go to your SoundCloud profile → https://soundcloud.com/rsynced
.
Scroll to the “All” or “Reposts” tab — this shows tracks you’ve reposted.
Find the reposted track you want to remove.
Hover your mouse over the “Repost” (🔁) icon — it should be orange.
Click it once — it will turn gray, meaning the repost is removed.
✅ The track will immediately disappear from your profile’s repost section and stream.
📱 On Mobile App
Open the SoundCloud app.
Go to your profile → tap Reposts or scroll down to the reposted track.
Tap the orange repost (🔁) button again — it turns gray.
⚠️ Notes
Removing a repost doesn’t delete the original track — it just removes your share of it.
If you don’t see the reposted track, check the “All” tab (some tracks may be mixed in with your uploads).
Would you like me to show the exact steps visually (with screenshot-style mockups) for the web or mobile version?

this does not work On Desktop (soundcloud.com), nothing works, why is soundcloud trash? what is a better choice?

Hey — you’re not alone in being frustrated with this. Lots of users report SoundCloud being glitchy, support being slow, and repost/remove features being buggy. I dug into what people have found and what alternatives might be better. I can help you pick one that fits you too, if you want.
😬 What’s wrong with SoundCloud (from what people are saying)
Some of the downsides people are citing:
Reposts don’t always disappear immediately after you “un-repost”. It stays visible sometimes, especially in feeds.

Their support is often described as slow or unhelpful — people complain about requests/tickets taking forever.

Discovery / algorithm issues: plenty of reposts cluttering feeds, so it’s hard to find new content by artists you follow.

Sometimes audio quality is reportedly worse than on other platforms (compression, upload quality, etc.).

So yeah, it's not always “trash”, but there are real issues.
🔍 Alternatives to SoundCloud
Depending on what you need (uploading, discovery, paying/earning, community, etc.), some other platforms do parts of what SoundCloud does, sometimes better.
Here are some good ones:
Platform Good for… Trade-offs / what you lose vs SC
Audiomack Emerging artists, free uploads, good exposure, simple creator tools.
Wikipedia
Might have fewer listeners depending on your genre; less premium reach than Spotify/Apple Music; maybe fewer features for detailed analytics.
Bandcamp Direct-to-fan sales, high quality audio, very artist-friendly (merch, etc.). Great for people who want to own their work and sell it.
Techlogitic

Less built-in social/discovery network; fewer listeners just browsing vs streaming-first services; less free streaming unless you set it up that way.
Apple Music / Spotify / Amazon Music / YouTube Music Huge audience reach, polished apps, good discovery tools. More gatekeepers; often more cost or subscription model; you may need a distributor; less “indie-community feel” than SC.
Bandzoogle If you want to build your own website, sell merch, control your brand.
Wikipedia
Doesn’t solve discovery as SC does; you’ll have to bring in your audience rather than rely on the platform showing your stuff to new people.
Other niche or emerging platforms might be good depending on genre (e.g. for hip-hop, rap, electronic, etc.). Also look for platforms with good audio fidelity if that matters to you.
If you tell me: what features matter most to you (e.g. uploading freely, ability to sell music / monetization, community / discovery, high quality audio, being free vs cheap), I can suggest 2-3 platforms that might suit you best. Do you want me to do that?
