Seems to be that I can never access HF before 9pm on my network. It's a brand new broadband - so I haven't tweaked anything yet - but this was also the case on my last provider. The site fails to load - stating DNS issue. Then after 9pm it actually loads like nothing ever happened. Any idea? UK-based

That's a strange issue

Try a dns flush, you must have some strange config somewhere, either local on machine or in router or modem. I'd do physical and soft resets if I was dealing with this after checking all settings in my computer and admin panels. If nothing works, then it's on the ISP, and if it's not them then it's something on HF's side

brand new machine and router, same on my old machine and old router. Tried DNS flushing. It's a fucking weird one

Wouldn't the case be.. reversed? As in after 9pm you can't access. Disabling access before and allowing after kind of makes no sense

Definitely parental control.

You can fix this by logging into the router admin panel (you can find the link and the information on the sticker under the router) and turning it off.

Seems it's only certain ISP's doing it, mine for example doesn't. However set your DNS (at router and PC) to 1.1.1.1 (primary) and 8.8.8.8 (secondary) and should bypass it all.

If you're using a mobile network based internet, these have 18+ restrictions by default too, again DNS will bypass and if required VPN will work too.

There's also a tampermonkey script made by a user here which will auto proxy imgur.com links so they load on HF too.

Gave it a test tonight - definitely 9pm it switches over to being able to browse - which is crazy. I have changed DNS settings and nothing. I know I could use a VPN but I don't have one on my computer and nor do I want to use one 24/7. I tried allowing the IPV6 of my device through all site blocking settnigs - nothing. Parental control settings aren't on my router's login page so I would have to go through the ISP themselves - wtf is happening to this world.

It's not like you experience much latency.
