Year 2030 Gold Prediction | Share Yours & Let's See

I would love to start a tradition of long-term price predictions for various assets. This can help the community discuss, learn, and then obviously check the price in years from now.

What per oz price will gold be at in the year 2030?
Any min/max predictions?
Will it be at an ATH, on a bull run, or what?

Obviously many things can happen between now and 2030. However, long-term investing is important and it's a good exercise to really think through all the different factors and make a general prediction for where an investment may be.
I don't think there will be any gold left. How else are we going to complete our direct order from overlord emperor most-high for gold-plated military uniforms?

2030 should be fine, but at some point I think our extraction methods & sources of gold will be so good that we'll see a huge price drop per oz.
Maybe not soon, but in our lifetimes I imagine we will.

Too many places aren't explored yet & so much progress with extraction can be expected.
Let alone anything we do in the future for mining asteroids, etc.

Propulsion -> maneuvering -> distant sources of gold:

Lots of work must still be done, but it's not impossible to consider that in our lifetimes, we could possibly see our first asteroid mining op.

In my experience & estimates, we'll likely see some major improvements with spacecraft & aircraft in the coming years.
Asteroid mining won't feel nearly as far-fetched as it might to some currently.

But plenty of unexplored sources on Earth too...

You always bring very interesting thoughts and ideas when it comes to investing. Mining asteroids as well as advanced tactics for mining the earth. I've always thought of it inversely as there being a finite amount and if the mines run dry then the price would go up. Supply/demand. Gold has been on a very good run the past few years. I think it's because of waning confidence in the dollar and the money printer going crazy. They've added so much money into circulation since COVID that you'd think the price of everything should have increased by 300% or more. Time for my personal prediction for 2030. I believe the run will continue.

Edit : Changing my prediction to 12k per ounce by 2030.
Also making a guess that the U.S. will be in a great recession by then.

I would like your prediction as well please.

10k+ per ounce by 2030.

Thanks, I try to consider the idea that the markets today are not the same markets in many years from now. Mining in the ocean or other yet to be discovered areas is always a possibility.

I can see how we could reach 10K, but I personally am placing gold per oz at $6000-8000 of today's money (adjusted for inflation in 2030 though, depending) as having support. This prediction would allow for a 10K+ top or attempt, but 6-8k seems like a more conservative, but optimistic prediction. I think maybe $4.8K as a bottom around 2030 could make sense too, if there's a crash or re-test of certain trend lines I can see currently

I suppose the recent years are an anomaly and that a crash is always possible as well. I should take those into consideration as well but I can only see one crash from the spot price and not researched enough to know what caused that. Gold holds up even during the other bear markets. You call your prediction optimistic and it seems pessimistic to me haha. You're more educated on the subject I'm pretty sure so must be factors I'm missing. A few things I think are important for the near future:

1. The money printer is still on. ⬆️
2. Sentiment for the dollar could get shaky in the next few years especially if the stock market corrects violently. ⬆️
3. The tariff rebate may cause an influx into the markets like they did with covid. ⬆️
4. Mining operations improve or we mind asteroids. ⬇️ While those are possible, I'm not sure if anything super significant would happen and be around long enough for impact by 2030. I've heard rumors China is currently mining on the back of the moon. That would be nuts and a whole different topic.

Yeah I don't think any asteroid or space mining will affect 2030 prices specifically

always an interest, but just basing 6-8K on TA / trends to continue with key support in the 4.8-6K range with optimistic prediction that we could find support a higher numbers closer to 8k+
i think it is unpredictable. you may never know how much it can go further. It is a commodity.
It is always depend on demand and supply.
If there is enormous gold and we find a couple of more gold mines inside earth crust, gold prices demand will become low so prices will drop. if the supply becomes limited prices will sky rocket high
if central banks recognise that real interest rates are zero, this means that they are "tricking" the ordinary citizen which makes them appear to be enemies of the people
I can't predict the minimum or maximum price for gold but I'm sure in 2030 gold will rise because gold is a rare metal
