Bro… breathe. Markets cooked everybody this year. You’re not alone. Don’t nuke your whole future ’cause of one shitty cycle. Step back, touch grass, clear your head. Money comes back...your sanity doesn’t. Chill first, decisions later.

Be patient, rotate into Bitcoin before you lose even more, wait, be happy. I believe in seeing $1M+ on BTC, but I don't think we can guarantee a rise to $10M just yet. There's nothing fundamentally preventing us from swapping to a more obscure Bitcoin knockoff or a completely different protocol with the same principles that led to its rise today. I'm talking 10, 20, 30, 40 year timespans - nobody should be banking on Bitcoin having a guaranteed success story for that length of time, but I do personally believe it'll still be very strong in 10 years. Not saying people should put all their money into alts lol But I think a lot of people here are anti-alt almost too much Some of the best profits in the last half-decade+ have been from alts, not Bitcoin. I have been in and out of market for multiple phases for over a decade, but I didn't have the luxury of holding all funds from earlier days. I'm not saying anyone should hold alts or bank on shitcoins or memecoins, no. But there are projects that realistically will go 2x, 3x, 5x, etc faster than Bitcoin will once we see more growth in crypto in future. Yeah, Bitcoin has gone up a lot, of course, but nowhere even close to others *recently*. And I'm not saying people have to buy shitcoins. There have been so many predictable spikes at 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 30x, 40x, 50x in non-crypto markets & also in crypto while Bitcoin has bounced between $15-125K for a 6-8x return for many. That's great, but not life changing money for most. I guess what I'm really getting at is this: > best crypto to hold right now? Bitcoin > best for profiting in short-term? Debatable I'd rather go 20x on an investment this year and then put 25% into BTC, 25% into stocks, 25% into minerals, and 25% into a vacation. Then ride that Bitcoin hold for decade(s) I think some people are putting too much money into Bitcoin without entertaining actual methods to multiply their funds faster, without going into crazy risks, collateral, leverage, etc Bitcoin is great for many reasons, but by no means is it necessary over the course of our entire lifetimes, nor is it the most scarce resource by the way. If you want to know scarcity, look into all the components and minerals used for our entire global reliance on tech, networking, and devices. Bitcoin is far less scarce than the materials we need to run the Bitcoin network itself, enjoy our phones, screens, access to modern healthcare, and more. For that reason, it is far from guaranteed to succeed over a half century, and that's the only time interval I give a fuck about. 50 years is when I'll be old and retired. For all we know we'll be trading real ores to pay a global conglomerate that needs the minerals lol. We really don't know.

It does not get any more grassroots than Bitcoin tbh. People got exposure at higher prices than some, sure, but realistically everyone had the same chance to make unfathomable money from it. Anything else that comes out now will be pre-sold to venture capitalists way before you even know what it is. Sad truth but the reality of the crypto sphere. Trading is gambling and I have a lower risk tolerance than people I suppose. It's not impossible to get into coins early. I bought SOL at $16 in the summer of 2023 and less than a year later I had nearly 20x'd my money, but that was pretty lucky. I had plenty of "smart" (I will say that to be kind lol), telling me I was dumb and I should've bought LINK instead of the marketing bullshit they believed, look how that went. Your safest bet is your smartest bet.

Anything else that comes out now will be pre-sold to venture capitalists way before you even know what it is. Sad truth but the reality of the crypto sphere. Okay riddle me this Lets say you're right and BTC continues to rise, and possibly is a threat to USD itself. Right now the market cap of Bitcoin is $2 Trillion This year, the US Gov will spend more than $2 Trillion through the D.O.D. alone. If the US' dominance over global currency is threatened, our budgets can be used to acquire bitcoin marketshare. In this scenario, Bitcoin immediately becomes less decentralized, with US (and other countries following in suit to compete for %) leading the way We truly cannot bank on Bitcoin being used in the same way forever. In this scenario, if the US cannot maintain dominance by buying into Bitcoin, its budgets can be used to destroy it. US could ban Bitcoin transactions if China has a hold on it. This embargo on the use of crypto itself would stunt growth and cause markets to crash almost immediately. I hope you get the gist of it The dream of Bitcoin rising in value forever is also the nightmare for the US Gov, and other govs who may not have the means to buy enough in the future. Those countries benefit from transacting in USD & allying with the USA. On the flipside, the US is aware of this and I believe actively working to make sure it maintains global power over currency & markets, regardless. We have to really think these things through. If Bitcoin really can hit $10M, do we really believe it will still have the same % of individual owners (many using exchanges too)? It won't. Govs will hoard more than ever just like they do today with foreign currencies, gold, etc. aaand just like anything that the gov manages or has more control of, the people can eventually vote with their wallets, or really vote against it. As Bitcoin & crypto use overall rises, so does the importance of controlling it. Its success can also be its death, and its current uses (but not widespread adoption) could end up being why it's successful. we shall see (Nov 19, 2025 09:51 PM)Hackers Wrote: US could ban Bitcoin transactions if China has a hold on it. We'd like to see them try. How many times over the years has it been banned in China, India, Russia, whatever. A lot of headlines, impacted nothing. People are funny creatures, you tell them they can't do something, they want to do it more. Already happening now, but there is a not-so-talked-about cold war going on right now in the sense where countries (Germany bag fumblers excluded) are trying to acquire more coin. More Bitcoin on their balance sheets, higher on world superpower totem pole. As for your comment about BTC rising forever as a nightmare for the US, they are 100% aware of predictions and trends (which we can assume mean nothing for this thread), fiat currency is still an approved government and I think you and I could both agree on that. Our real money is getting weaker everyday and our spending power decreases as time goes on. We are living in an AI exposed world already, but it's very wonky still. Wait until AGI is out and people really start losing their jobs and most useless people are on UBI. When this happens, this will trigger hyper-deflation in goods and services. Money will flow into scarce assets, the same way it happened in the past in other times of fiat instability. We are getting into schizophrenic territory here on my part I must say, but it's not an impossibility. In a fully dystopian AI world (where we are headed), BTC will become the main layer for AI driven value flows, valued at an even more significant fraction of all global wealth. Post-scarcity economics. I love the discussion we're having.
AGI will never happen, everything is marketing to monetize the narative that robots will take over.
AI is and always will be a TOOL waiting for our command. It does not understand you the program recieves and gives back results based on algorithms. As for BTC I believe that when the next halving comes we will see interesting things. As the mining power consumption keeps rising and if the price doesn’t do familiar gains… (Nov 19, 2025 11:17 PM)SnowreyHS Wrote: AGI will never happen, everything is marketing to monetize the narative that robots will take over. You will be surprised, my friend. We have comprehensive backtesting models, community metrics, software that evaluates company data and includes global decision analysis. If you'd like, send me a PM and I can help you with stocks. There is a simple solution to your problem.
Swap it all for Bitcoin, hold, and STFU.
Diversification is king.
I throw a fuck ton of money around chasing alts, but I'm also taking profits along the way and diversifying outside of crypto or moving funds back into stablecoins for high yield stable plays. Never go 100% alts and always take profits along the way. Chasing the 25x with your full investment is bonkers, pull half out at 1.5x-2x or something and let the rest ride. Next run that alts have, keep in mind it'll all come crashing back down eventually, and make sure to prep for that eventual reality. |
