Beautiful. I used to watch a lot of these videos. Making astonishing swimming pools and houses in the jungle, in the cave or underground.
These guys are super strong mentally and physically to pull this off that quickly. These kind of videos make me happy and glad that YouTube exists so we can see their art and they can also show the world while earning money. (Dec 8, 2025 12:14 AM)RangoWorld Wrote: Beautiful. I feel like I'm telling a kid Santa isn't real, but if you're talking about those swimming pool videos where they dig a giant creation out of the ground with a stick, they are made with excavators and they leave giant pits people fall into and garbage everywhere. Plenty of evidence.

Plenty of evidence. This video is a lot different than those. He does use tools openly to make the cuts, and he even goes to mainland to get materials like proper clay for the oven whereas he makes his own clay and sealant for other things. I don't mind if he had help either, the build is cool The pool ground with the stick though is definitely a big lie for the excavator, and aware of those. That said, they still accomplish a lot with more primitive materials after-the-fact. I also refuse to be mad at 2 people trashing areas when our entire planet is addicted to consumption. They could trash 10,000 more wild fields and barely make a dent on the daily damage we do against Earth. If they've inspired people to consider more sustainable living, by way of an excavator and environmental damage, it's probably more of a benefit than all the other media influence geared towards buying products online. And lets say they didn't use excavator - then you and others would be more likely to tune into them, which spends more electricity, uses more data bandwidth, etc. So it's not necessarily even a benefit for them to be more conscious of the environment if that increases viewer watch times and damages Earth more than their own pollution & littering. It's a tough, nuanced subject, but all of these things matter. The Earth doesn't give a fuck if we're watching porn, genuine DIY, or fake DIY. It's just consumption. |
