Here's a weird one I just noticed, as usual the noob in me likes going to the Beginner Hacking Section, I saw a thread that was closed about something that Mr Sheen had posted on, so I went to loook at it;
https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6315822
But we only see Charlie's reply, however, when I view OPs profile directly, I see his post in his recent list still;
https://hackforums.net/member.php?action...id=5723577
I suspect because it was moved to Spam?
Also, fuck trolls and people who think they're funny or cool doing such things, just thought I'd throw that here if they view this thread.
Another one, should you get alerts for replies to your post from groups you're no longer a member of? Since you can't see what they quoted but still got a notification telling me they have?
Please don't just reply saying "same" or other LQ stuff, I mostly just thought this wasn't expected behavior so thought I'd report/ask about it.

Moderators / Staff can flag profiles and manually "JUNK" a user's post/thread.
When they do this, their post get's moved to a new forum called Junk that only they can see.
When you view the thread, you see Charlie's post and it appears as the main thread post bc the other post was hidden.
A user's posts are hidden based on your permissions - I think you only saw their junked post(s) bc of caching.

You shouldn't get subscriptions, but you will if they quote or mention you.
If members do this continuously, you can report it to staff.

I get that they can do that, it's odd because I can see the post on his profile that was hidden, but not on the thread, which makes me think not expected behavior, I've not tried Incognito but did force refresh and still shows up.
I don't see it in the OP, I don't think this is caching, I think it's undefined behavior so I thought I'd ask.
Also, it was one off, no abuse, just curious again if notifications should've taken into account the target user has permission to the forum.
No real issues, just kinda what I think are odd behaviors from what I woudl expect.

I think when u report someone, his op is removed till one of staff check , then if really wrong , it got deleted
Limited offer
Signature space ... 1k bytes per week
I thought the whole post gets removed in that instance then you can check it again, just seems like an odd thing to have happened.
It just doesn't seem like intended behavior is why I am asking for clarification if it is working as intended or was is a logical bug somewhere.
