OKX Wallet is solid for BTC, supports Native SegWit, Taproot, Legacy, Nested SegWit, and Lightning, and allows you to quickly swap between the variants if necessary. Despite OKX being a custodial exchange, the OKX Wallet is non-custodial.
https://web3.okx.com/wallet/bitcoin Klever.io supports Monero. I have no insights on Klever.io or how well they support Monero, just commonly suggested when people ask this question. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail...jpciihhmif
Wait? Why do you want a browser based wallet? Are you in mobile or desktop environment?

I just googled it and that's clearly ideal. Ive had wallets literally shut down with little to no warning. And the privacy and sheer control over your wallet mwah see this is why I came here for answers (Dec 31, 2025 09:17 PM)Pop Shells Wrote: Well tbh omni I didn't know what that was. Okx Wallet is good for DeFi and you cannot go wrong with Rabby as well OP. I kind of wish they separated the exchange and non custodian on the app. I use both of them, but I don’t like linking my identity from non custodian wallets to the exchange.

It’s more so if I decided to make an exchange on web3, that can share device info / ip addresses, and public wallet addresses. This definitely connects to the OKX exchange, since they share the same metadata. Compared to if it’s just like MetaMask wallet and OKX exchange, they’re both different apps, the only thing that could really link is just IP addresses and general device trails (if making an exchange on metamask wallet). It just makes it easier for them to build a risk score profile based off activity on both centralized and decentralized. So if one of my Ethereum addresses were tainted from a bad sender on web3, and I made an exchange, they’ll put a high risk score on my KYC profile, and hence terminate the KYC account, despite it being done off decentralized. Just things in the backend that they won’t disclose to us. At this point, I do risk checks on most of my own wallets and addresses to hopefully avoid account termination. Unfortunately about a month ago I lost another KYC account but I'm pretty sure I know why and it wasn't because of risk level scores on my deposits. Might just be exchanging on DEX/CEX could also be a grey area for closures. There’s good and bad transactions happening there. So far, I really like OKX. The instant wire transfer for $30 is amazing. I hope they don’t close my account in the future. (Jan 2, 2026 01:49 PM)Mewtwo Wrote: Might just be exchanging on DEX/CEX could also be a grey area for closures. This is why after you do swaps, you do AML Risk checks. Houdini is awesome because you can select the swap partner. Some of them are 0% risk every swap. Basically you get the advantage of using KYC exchange without joining the website. Not sure how long they'll last but for now, it's damn awesome. OKX has fiat withdrawal limits that blow. |
