DDoS Attacks on Websites

how effective are ddos attacks on secure, but not readily maintained, websites. Like, for example, if someone were to attack the ORR gov website, how complicated would that be?
It would be funny.

Do not do it.

Real... but like I'm just asking generally how hard something like that would be. If you tried it, like how big would you need your botnet to be? Because I'm in the process of learning this stuff, and shits a lot harder than I thought. I mean I get why people buy stresser and booter services now lol
Depends.

If they have Cloudflare and use their premium offering, Goodluck. I don't think there are services out there that can do this, though maybe that's a nuke when a stick of TNT would do.

Short answer from me is, I don't know, longer answer is, you would likely need to ramp up from any arbitrary starting point.

I also would suggest most government agencies despite not looking maintained actually have audit trails of a lot more than you'd expect and would likely result in you being.

I also do not think that HF now allows booter services, so you're not going to find any here for rent.

Yea, any cloud platform like Cloudware is pretty much off limits in terms of what I can do personally. Also, I know where a bunch of booter services are already, but I want to learn it more in depth myself. I already know the basics, but I'm just trying to learn more.
Learning != Attacking Government websites. Sure bud. Sure.

Learn what networking is like, understand the OSI model then you'll get more understanding of why it works, and what happens during one, basically take any entry level CISCO course on networking, you'll go so much further and understand what you're doing more.

i just meant more protected websites LIKE gov sites lol. I might end up taking a couple online courses but i mainly am self taught. I do a lot of this for fun.

You surely aren't stupid enough to see what I was implying.

Cisco albeit cunts are still a standard of learning appreciated by most, look into their IT Essentials.

Maybe do some AT stuff, but foundational networking is better from Cisco.

If you want to learn more about DoS attacks and how they work i've made a small guide, hope it helps!
