New here, my introduction and goal for why I joined this forum

Wattup y'all I've been lurking for a day before realizing I should introduce myself, im broke AF and good with computers, tired of my momma being hungry and broke so I'm learning to properly hack and get into the community.

Morals are low, being good hasn't paid rent. I know a lot about computer hardware, so I'm here learning the software.

Looking for friends too I'm here to stay. I'm not the type to BS, I'm dead set on learning and gonna find a way to make some money and get my skills up.

(Im new and have a signature cause I saw someone with it, and ive already been scammed once here, so I put that in my signature)

Knowledge about consumer hardware, or if I asked you what a resistance value was based on the stripe colors you'd know?

I'm being cynical to help you understand when you act like the smartest in the room you're going to find out real quick you're actually not that bright.

I am self confessed that I am great with tech, I've made a living off it, I got off here and found out I was right in saying I was a self professed skid, just someone who decided to buckle down.

You will always find out more, to say you know that a Haswell is worse than Coffee Lake is your expertise in hardware is not really that. Your expertise would come from by knowing what spec sheets mean and how to interface with that hardware, and I mean not just putting it into the CPU socket, it would be to understand what the pins do, and then how to make your own socket, not like it would be practical but to know you could, or how to do that.

Something more simple, how do you turn a LED on with a battery, that's hardware, albeit a real. Interesting version.

I appreciate it, especially the last part. Thats super insightful for me to look deeper into and a great way to think about it. Thanks!

Welcome to HackForums,

I know alot about hardware too but really it wouldn't make me as much as prompt engineering even if I knew what the pins did. CompTIA A+ is the base qualification so don't take the above critisism too serious.

Your here to learn and expand. If you can upgrade your CPU, RAM and Drives to optimise your performance plus use various operating systems incase of lack of resources that enough hardware knowledge to make money in software. I would, if I was you focus on automated business modeling and niche's where clients are begging for work to be done if you want make money. I can change the resistors on my MB if i need but really thats a waste of valuable time.. I just bin it and buy a fresh one.

If you make 200$ an hour and it costs 5$ for someone to remove the bins and clean the house it's not lazy to have a cleaner, its financially beneficial.

Anyway, if you need any help LMK
