A Family Vehicle Filled With Tear Gas

ICE tear gassed a vehicle that included a six month old baby, causing the baby to be sent to the hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to the New York Times, Shawn and Destiny Jackson, parents to six children, ( an 11 - and 7- year-old, 4 - year-old twins, a 2-year-old and a 6 - month - old baby boy.) were driving in Minneapolis, Minnesota when a tear gas canister shot by ICE agents exploded underneath their vehicle. They were on their way home from basketball practice

ICE agents stopped them, proceeded to fire a tear gas canister under their vehicle as smoke filled the car. The parents rushed to try to get the children out of the vehicle.

When the father tried to get the baby boy, he says that the baby was quote, lifeless. The baby had bubbles coming out of his mouth. He had to get emergency rushed to the hospital.

The children are now traumatized. They're not sleeping.

This is the reality of what's happening in Minneapolis right now?🙄🤦‍♂️

Crazy, I wonder what justification the cunt cult will come up with for this one. This admin will do anything except focus on the economy and release the Epstein files.

I think I'm at the point where I might just start calling Trumpers a new name:
kidfuckers

For whatever reason, the "Conservatives" who believe in a limited government are 100% okay with a federal force going against State's rights, and violating laws for the sake of what...?

Biden deported 685K in 2024.
Trump deported 605K in 2025.

Let that sink in. Trump is incompetent. I hope that MAGA people will one day realize they have been duped by someone who is unfit.
Even with these ICE deployments, Trump is less capable of deporting illegal immigrants than the Biden administration was with their legal processes.

If not censored then here are some follow-ups to the current events unfolding:

I am 100% okay with deporting illegal immigrants.
I am also 100% NOT okay with laws being broken to do so.

Both should be true: LEGALLY DEPORT.

If we scrap all semblance of humanity, our laws, and Constitution, then what do we have? A strong, great America is one that follows its laws, so we may all enjoy its freedoms. Anything less is illegal and must be fought and destroyed.
Sickening.

My opinion is that anybody excusing this should stfu when it happens to their own families.

It doesn't matter if a person is "illegal"; nobody deserves to be treated like that.

It's also happening to lots of people that are not in the USA illegally as well, apparently.

I do have to agree with both of you here. Absolutely nobody should be put through the terrorization that ICE has put people through, especially American citizens. It's absolutely insane. If you're in a country illegally, you obviously do not belong there.

The thing is, even if someone is here illegally, they are protected by our Constitutional rights.

those rights say that we won't be stopped unless there is probable cause / legal suspicion to stop. Once stopped, there must be other legal requirements to search, seize, detain, or arrest.

Only 14% of the people arrested by ICE are proven to have a criminal, violent record.

DHS says roughly 47% of the detained people have a criminal charge or conviction.

So this means that 86% of the arrested people are non-violent, and 53% of them aren't even charged with a crime.

The reason I say that all MAGA are anti-American is because on a fundamental level, their little pea sized brains can't even comprehend the idea of law & order, Constitutional rights, and due process.

The only 3 things that define America are our People, our Constitution, and our Laws. They seem to trample on this for "hoorah I am a fucking moron" and then get mad when people like me look down on them and figuratively spit on their pathetic excuse for a life.

DHS denied that the family was targeted. Maybe it was due to blocking the street? Being too close to the protests? Getting out of the vehicle?

I agree with your last point. Government agents and law enforcement need to act strictly by the book here. Anyone who breaks laws or discharges a weapon without sufficient cause should face the full consequences.

Fact Check: The official deportation numbers for 2024 are 271,000. This includes people detained at the border. 2025 saw 2.5 million people deported, 1.9 million leaving willingly.

US Judges (federal, republican appointed) actually have authority to rule on that, not DHS. It was ordered, and said to be illegal for ICE to perform a traffic stop in most cases, with some exceptions.

Quote:ICE Officers may stop a vehicle to enforce civil immigration laws only if they are aware of specific, articulable facts that reasonably warrant suspicion that the vehicle contains an alien(s) who may be illegally in the country. As soon as practicable after making an arrest under 8 U.S.C.

Quote:In response to a lawsuit filed by the ACLU of Minnesota and others, a U.S. District Court judge ordered federal agents to stop arresting, retaliating against, pepper-spraying and detaining people “engaging in peaceful and unobstructive protest activity.”

Quote:In a memo last week, Todd Lyons, the acting head of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, emphasized that agents should not make an arrest without an administrative arrest warrant issued by a supervisor unless they develop probable cause to believe that the person is in the U.S. illegally and likely to escape from the scene before a warrant can be obtained.

etc, etc.

The list goes on. ICE agents cannot just stop and search a car simply because they are there.
Blocking one lane in a two-lane road is not legal justification for them to stop and search either, let alone detain, arrest, and charge.

One could even argue that an illegal arrest makes it so using your vehicle as a self defense weapon is legal and justified, although I will not personally test this theory. But the argument can be made that if an illegal band of federal agents is on State land, performing an illegal stop & search & arrest that the use of force against the invading agents is not just necessary, but also morally and legally sound.

The 1.9 miillion number is heavily flawed and if you take a look, DHS & others provided no actual evidence of this other than numbers from a blog related to census data which is not accurate whatsoever for tracking self deportations at scale as high as 2 million people.

Quote:DHS’s initial announcement on August 14, 2025 about its success in leveraging self-deportations relied on a chart from a blog post two days earlier by the anti-immigrant think tank, the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS). The CIS authors explain that their analysis is derived from the Current Population Survey (CPS) and document their interpretation of the data.

They say roughly 14% of the detained peoples had violent records, and only 47% were ever charged with a crime or convicted.

So 53% of the arrests are of people without a criminal record, and with due process being a requirement, there's no way to say they are illegal or not without it.

The myth that this is about violence and crime is a joke. The biggest crime is locking up hundreds of thousands of people without our constitutional rights to due process, search & seizure (illegal searches result in thrown out cases), etc.

I understand we will disagree, but there is no doubt in the world's mind that the minority of Trumpers in this country are on the outs. They've lost the legal battles time and time again, will continue to, and they are losing the cultural battle too.

Real American women don't want MAGA simps, and real employers don't want idiots in the office. There is no greater sign of emotional weakness and an intelligence flaw than diehard support for Trump, with no change in mindset over a 10 year timespan. This is why it is not just easy to discard a MAGA from our lives, but necessary for peace, knowledge, and our country.

There is no place in America for those who do not even understand what it is, and yet go on to trample on its freedoms for the sake of memes & slogans. They cause more damage than the profits we have earned from immigrant labor. Most of these people are just disenfranchised low lives who are butthurt they aren't rich. There's a reason red states are so statistically behind, and then their politicians use this to blame another. Classic tactic, easy to pull off on simpletons, but obvious to anyone with half a brain to notice it and feel disgusted. Republicans (modern ones, not the old ones) are victims & willing participants simultaneously.

Real Americans don't want redhatted terrorists jeering & cheering for illegal law enforcement practices.

The truth that MAGA never wants to accept is that it would take us a couple of centuries to process all of the court cases. So what do they do? They cut the number of immigration judges in half to around 5000 or so now, and they increase the number of ICE agents.

It's incompetence because when a backlog would take 200 years to process, you need to ramp up the litigation and due process, not the arrests without those laws being followed.

This whole thing will end up being framed as the delusions of incompetent politicians with the support of an extremely ignorant populace, and frankly, every single criticism of MAGA is not just an insult, it's an olive branch being offered: they need to use their brains and realize they are not as American as they think they are. The olive branch is the opportunity for them to reflect on their incorrect thoughts so that they may join the rest of the country in its patriotism and love for our laws. Nothing less or more is necessary other than love for law, something that the Trumpers are seemingly incapable of doing.

America First = Constitution, laws, democracy, and due process.

It seems the only ones threatening our country are the ones claiming to be saving it. History will not be kind to any of these challenged individuals, and yet the excuse of retardation will not be enough to free them of the guilt & shame they should deservedly feel for the rest of their days.

There are stories of low key torture in these concentration camps where people with valid work visas and Greencards get sent temporarily because it seems either people have to fill a quota of arrests to get paid or avoid censure or they get a bonus. Probably the former.

I went to max plus rep you but found I already had. lol

Yeah, I've read some of these stories mostly from white people who were kidnapped off the street like one was a Canadian with a valid work visa and had hemp as one ingredient in ONE of her health drinks that she was selling. So, they said that might make her business invalid?

And a German with a Green card who was once arrested for weed possession but the judge had THROWN THE CASE OUT because the amount he was caught with was so small the judge thought it was a waste of time prosecuting and certainly wasn't for selling purposes. But ICE arrested him for having had an arrest. Something that really shouldn't happen. If it's only an arrest without conviction it goes against the whole US and western world's system of justice to even treat him like he had a criminal record when he didn't!

Both were freed, but after two months of low key torture each. For example being put randomly in solitary in a freezing cell with nothing but a tap and toilet without being told why or when they'd get out for nine hours. No pillows. Matt and aluminium blanket in a room of twenty people when allowed out. Food that was off and made them sick. Etc....
