I haven’t seen Cain & Abel mentioned in a long time. Does it require older drivers like WinPcap to function properly? Curious if it still runs stable on newer hardware.

i use to use this all the time and had alot of fun doing so its a shame its depleted and no one has made a more updated version for 2026 hopfully one day someone does restore it it would be good to see :)

Ahh good ol days of easy SSLStriping combined with Ettercap and dsniff suite/driftnet. Man I miss WEP and the easy days of skating around town cracking WEP keys and MITMing xD Found out my old apartment manager was cheating on his wife with 'young gay prostitutes' lol and getting full access to Barracuda securities employee next door to me's VPN->VPS network decades ago

Thanks for posting even seeing the name brings back memories and not the PTSD type for a change :D, I think I’ve still got a copy of this on a floppy in my loft along with Back Orifice and some other stuff like certain handbooks that can get you in a lot or trouble these days, although not if I leave it on floppies. Probably lucky I don’t have a floppy drive anymore just a dual layer case full of floppy disks with very questionable content…
