Hello all,

I am not the brightest when it comes to developing. I am trying to add social media API's so people can log in using their social media platforms, and it will prefill their profile section. Would anyone be able to assist?

Hello dear ones, that sounds absolutely wonderful. I am very interested in your work. Please let me know how I can access the program—whether I can download it for free or if I may pay you for your efforts. If so, how much does it cost?

Hi Sigma. Pre-filling profiles via Social APIs is all about handling the OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow. Once the user authenticates, you'll receive an access token to query the provider's userinfo endpoint. I recommend using specialized middleware like Passport.js or NextAuth to handle the session and JSON parsing safely. What backend are you running? I can drop a boilerplate for your specific environment.

Social login (Google, Facebook, etc.) can really improve user experience, especially if it also auto-fills profile details. If you’re not very deep into development, I’d suggest starting with OAuth 2.0 libraries instead of building everything from scratch.

Most frameworks already have ready-made packages for this, so you just need to configure API keys and callback URLs. Also make sure to properly handle permissions so users know what data is being pulled
