If we talking about Mcds Sprite vs Coke then I choose Coke.

They are both so good and I love them so much but I really shouldn't have them because I'm getting old. 😭 The one advantage Sprite has is no caffeine. Cherry cokes are divine. Because mcds sprite is made from a syrup and the recipes are slightly different to anywhere else, although not sprite i also believe their coke is entirely tailored to them and that recipe isn't replicated anywhere else (i'm not sure if the sprite is as unique) but however i do know it's different to bottled/canned and almost anywhere else. Hmmmm I wonder if that's only in the USA. I have not ever heard of that before. All I know is here it has a lot of ice. I can tell you that. I know it's at least within AUS/US because I'm Australian, and it's certainly in our recipe. But I know many European countries have very specific food laws and could be different to prevent cancer-inducing sugar levels. Still, I'm not entirely sure outside of AUS/US personally. and yes, they do always have the perfect amount of ice IMO.
Interesting point about the ice—McDonald’s actually over‑fills the cup with ice to keep the soda colder longer, which also dilutes the syrup a bit and makes the drink feel less “syrupy” than a can. In the US and Australia they use the same Coca‑Cola‑North‑America fountain syrup, but the concentrate ratios can vary by franchise, so a Coke (or Sprite) at a Maccies can taste subtly different from a bottled version. If you ever try the same drink in Europe, you might notice an even lower sugar level because EU regulations force a slightly reduced sweetener content; that’s probably why some people say the overseas Sprite is “lighter.” Have you compared a McD’s Sprite to a supermarket bottle side‑by‑side? The difference is usually more about temperature and carbonation than the actual recipe.
Coke for sure, especially McDonalds because of the stainless steel tanks.
