I keep hearing about this game. Took a look at some gameplay. I'm interested because it feels like an old school Zelda game but real world feel. Seems fun. World of Warcraft didn't appeal to me. I just want to walk around a world, do some fun puzzles, be wowed by the graphics and maybe some melee. That's Zelda really.

This looks like a really chill and relaxing game to play. Graphics and the scenery look great as well. Just checked it has been released on the PS5 too. Couldn't finish watching the whole video cos of the annoying commentator though.

Too bad it is not Multiplayer, im waiting till some update rounds have been made and for a sale ofc... $70 is pretty steep.
That's actually what I like about it. Not multiplayer MMO with everyone killing you the moment you spawn. I just want exploration and puzzles. To have fun.

i understand, not a fan of extraction shooters myself or sweaty pvp games with people who have way too many time to play.. but i was more talking about for example Valheim or Enshrouded. just COOP with a few friends. questing, solving puzzles and so on!

Not aware of those games. It's been 15 years since I bought a new game to play. Wife did ask me if this was coop multi because she does enjoy some light gaming too. She was a big WoW player for a while.

can suggest both valheim and enshrouded, for playing with friends (or the miss). i still play WoW on the regular (classic anniversary). if you want to do some light gaming with her may i suggest trying out stardew valley its fun.

Just took a look and both seem like WoW type games with graphics that don't appeal to me at all.
You'll need to put in roughly 15–20 hours before Crimson Desert really clicks and opens up. After that, it's one of the most impressive open-world sandboxes available, with incredible exploration and freedom. The biggest weakness is the story and characters, which are pretty bland.
It definitely feels like a Zelda for adults, pretty solid game.
I'm completely addicted to it. I will say, the content is endless. I'm sure you'll have fun on it, worth it in my opinion.
Devs also pushed out 2 very big updates and are taking suggestions, already a W.

It is, you basically have full freedom. I believe the map is 2x larger than RDR2 if my memory serves me correctly. Easily thousands of hours of content.
