Within 2 weeks, I was able to get about 164 clips of people raging on Black Ops 7 against me already.

Premium is only there to watch videos at a higher bitrate, but I be seeing people's gameplay that are crystal clear at 1080p. I'm probably gonna try rendering 1080p gameplay at 4k since that tricks youtube's system into giving me a better codec, I'm gonna have to do some testing on that.

EDIT: YouTube Premium wouldn't effect uploads, only by the viewer to see so it's client-sided.

Yeah, it is also known that people's videos that get into the algorithm (larger creators usually) do get a favorable bitrate amount.
It just sucks since it's like CRYSTAL CLEAR on my pc locally lol.

Seems like nobody does anything for fun anymore.

That was for trolling specifically, but they pretty much let that go anyway. You basically just can't let too much cussing and any cussing within the first minute of the video. I've had Google AdSense issues that they haven't helped me on at all so I'm not monetized.

Makes sense, that's worth considering. A lot of my videos had dicey thumbnails and also were quick to show off some highlights. I would do a mini montage in the beginning before breaking out into the larger segments.

One thing that was cool - I was able to win multiple DMCA takedowns with fair use claims. I frequently sourced videos from other channels, used segments, and never had a video removed (after temporarily being down until I responded).

All in the past now, the channel got completely wiped for some unrelated BS. I moved on from this niche

It started out for fun but over time I grew the channel to 100s of videos and millions of views. I never relied on it though, it was always just a fun hobby that also brought in some nice side cash.

I’ve found that diversifying onto platforms like Rumble or even Discord servers can keep the rage content alive without the YouTube choke‑holds. I also switched to “reaction‑only” uploads where I overlay the footage with live commentary—no profanity in the first 10 seconds and the algorithm seems happier. Have any of you tried mixing in POV VR clips? The immersion tends to crank the anger factor up while still staying within fair‑use boundaries.
