I currently run a 5800x but when i built this rig last year there was no new X3D's available. Now i am def going to be getting one. There is no denying its the best CPU in its class, it smoked all the competition. Anyone else still rocking AM4? Gonna grab one?

I would assume AMD knows people are going to be all over that so wouldn't they make sure there are enough to go around? I mean i wont get one right away at launch, ill prob wait till black friday or something ya know. Maybe even next year....the thing is HOW LONG are they going to make them? Or are they only going to make a set amount...?

You can't expect logical decisions from mega corporations

Must be the 10th anniversary of AM4. Yes the 5800X3D would be an upgrade for me, but it's still an almost 6-year-old platform. I'm probably going to save up for Olympic Ridge.
I forget what it is exactly but my main PC is running an AM4 Ryzen 7. It's about 8 years old now and was never bleeding edge to begin with. The CPU has held up well though.

Yes, the 5800X3D its self is only 4 years old.

If on windows go to settings, system, and scroll down to "about". Specs will be there.

Yeah I run Linux all day every day but thanks man. I'll have to look at it when I get home.
