Currently sitting at 40-50k a month average. Crazy how 3 years ago I never thought I’d be at this stage. Sad thing is at the same time I’ve never overcome my gambling addiction so it’s all for nothing.
Life works in funny ways. I work full time for $1,000 a week but don’t need to. Idk just felt like yapping about this as no one irl knows what I do

What niche are you in to make that kinda money? Also congrats on 40k a month and I hope you can get help for the addiction.
Pat yourself on the back, 40k a month is phenomenal. I hope you can find a positive solution to your gambling addiction.
Sitting jobless for more than 6 months now as the IT market looks dead with more than 15 years of experience in IT, I envy you tbh.. I would probably be happy with 2k$ per month living in a shit country within europe.
Also: While here, LFJ :)

15 years of experience means shit all if you don't evolve with it.
I've met countless yappers yapping about them thinking theyre entitled to have a job in "IT" just because they've had "X" years of experience.
What have you done to further your learning and stay relevant?

I do understand what you are saying, and you are right, f.e I should have taken LKA and CKA years ago, but as per my positions at that time, my exposure to those areas were limited even though I posses the knowledge.
But i am not sure if you have checked the market lately, or LinkedIn atleast and see how its a massive layoff at every corner.
Also, my biggest issue is the VISA process as I am from Europe, but my shit country is not in the EU and most companies that I've seen are either asking for availability to work in the countries or just list countries from where the candidate has to be able to work from ;) Which is basically the same.
Anyways, to answer your question.
i am experienced with igaming infrastructure on every level. Due to my past experience. And yet I still can't nail a job due to the reasons above ;)
Ps: no need to be so aggressive about it.

Your victim mindset is your greatest barrier.
Emotional frustration only amplifies this. It will promote prolonged career transition.
Growth mindset will help you begin to make yourself relevant again.
Stop paying attention to linkedin and social media. You get literally 0 return and all of the risk.

Okay, Fair. Give me additional examples of what else I can do and I will tell you if I had tried it or not.
it's not a victim mindset, it is what it is at the moment. I can't change something that is not in my power.
