RETURN OF HF NEWS
Scribe has become the new home for Writ3rs on the forum and we will be bringing monthly editions of the Hack Forums News just for you. These editions will be trimmed down to focus on material solely about the site itself. If you're interested in joining, check the Groups & Crews News section for the Information thread to learn more.

BYTES BONUS DAYS
Until June 5th, users will gain an increased amount of bytes for posts and threads. This is a celebration of HF's Official Holiday known as "Goodwill Monday." This event is limited to upgraded members, with L33t members receiving 1.5x and Ub3r members receiving 2x the normal values. You can view the announcement here.

ANNIVERSARY OF HACK FORUMS
Hack Forums recently celebrated its 16th anniversary with the introduction of a new award goal known as King Decade for members who have remained on the site for 10 or more years. Feel free to pop into the thread commemorating the milestone to share your favorite memory of your time on the site.

USERS VIEWING THREADS
A recent change has given Ub3r and V3ndor members the ability to view which users are viewing a thread. With this change, non-upgraded and L33t members have lost the ability to view the Who's Online List. You can view the announcement for these changes here.

CREW FEES INCREASED
After numerous complaints about the price tag on Crews, the price to update the details for a crew has been increased to 50,000 Bytes per change. This brings the cost for a complete rebrand to 100,000 bytes in total. Group owners had stated that the cost of a rebrand for an official group was far above the previously low cost that came with a Crew rebrand.

SIGNATURES AND CUSTOM GROUPS
Some recent changes were made to benefit the non-upgraded users of the forum as well as to provide a selling point for the group owners of the site. These changes will reduce the requirements in place preventing non-upgraded members from displaying their signatures on their profiles.
You can read more about the changes within this thread.

WINNER OF SEASON 1
Congratulations to DemonAsylum for being the winner of Hackúman season 1. He became the second user to receive the Molten Sword of Hackúman for absolutely destroying the competition over the course of several months. You can read more about it here.

CUSTOM GROUPS AND BYTES
After months of low-quality spam within some custom usergroups, changes were made that would see the ability to earn bytes through those sub-forums removed. Users will now need to be active within the public forum to earn bytes from posts and threads. You can read more about it in the thread announcing this update.

BYTES HISTORY FILTERS
Users can now change views when looking at their Bytes History. This will make it easier to see wins and losses through flips and HF games, as well as view only donations, bumps and any other bytes transfers and purchases. Discussion about this can be found within this thread.

This edition of Hack Forums News was a collaboration of The Gold Standard and the Warriors usergroups.

I'm very excited to see the return of the HF News. Great work guys.

[StuffSneak]

Awesome work by the team. This really sums up everything happens on HF and we can keep a good track of it for long run. Hope to see myself in the positive news some day haha.

[blackrose_x0x0]

Glad to see the return of HF news. I took a small break from HF after an injury earlier in May so it's nice to see what's been happening all in one nice thread.

[Omniscient]

Good luck on keeping up with this. Takes a lot of dedication.

Happy to see this back in action.

[eXceptional]

Awesome. I wish I could contribute again but I'm busy IRL with work. I hope to get time soon and I'll be active again.
