200,000 HF Bytes are being given away as a part of this bytes flipping event hosted by The Brotherhood and to celebrate the birthday of 7!

When will this event be taking place?

From the time of this thread being posted until 11:50 PM PST on Friday July 24th, any bytes flipping you do in public convo will contribute towards you being on the top 10 list of the Daily Flippers thread for Friday, July 24th.

If you're not familiar with the Daily Flippers thread I'm referring to, here is the one from yesterday - https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6329043

They automatically get posted each day and are based on the flipping stats of all members which are tracked from public convo. The top 10 spots are based solely on how many times you flip that day (1,000 is the maximum).

Why is this important? How will the event work?

If you manage to flip enough times on Friday to end up on the Daily Flippers thread for the day, you will have a chance to be the winner of 200,000 HF Bytes. Upon seeing who those top 10 flippers are for the day, we will be doing a 1:3 roll in public convo.

1 = Who did the most flips
2 = Who profited
3 = Who was at a loss

Whatever category the roll lands on is the one that the winner will come from. Each category has a chance of having 1 definitive winner or multiple possible winners. If it's the latter, all of the possible winners for that category will be assigned a number and a second roll will be done to decide which of them is the winner.

Here are examples for each category scenario:

The roll to decide the category lands on 1 meaning who did the most flips. If there is a member with more flips than anyone else, they will win by default. If 5 members have the maximum 1,000 flips for the day then a second roll will occur to decide which of them is the winner.

The roll to decide the category lands on 2 meaning who profited. If only 1 member profited while the other 9 were at a loss, they will win by default. If 5 members profited then a second roll will occur to decide which of them is the winner.

The roll to decide the category lands on 3 meaning who is at a loss. If only 1 member is at a loss while the other 9 profited, they will win by default. If 5 members were at a loss then a second roll will occur to decide which of them is the winner.

TLDR:

Do as much bytes flipping as you can in public convo from the time of this thread being posted until Friday, July 24th at 11:50 PM PST for a possible chance to win 200,000 HF Bytes! Hitting the maximum 1,000 flips for the day will give you best shot at this!

Also keep in mind that only 10 members make it on the Daily Flippers thread so if 11+ members happen to do the maximum 1,000 flips for the day, it's expected that the first 10 that did such will be those that end up making it on the thread and in turn having a chance to win the 200,000 HF Bytes!
