i would like to suggest some changes to the website , i am old registred but i am a new user here
and i feel website have a lot of sections and threads etc , and i get confused which i read and which i didnt
and which i am following and which i am not.

my suggestions are 2 things that can really make this site better for noobies and even for anyone

1- let sections that have new unread threads have some red small popup near its name with count of unread threads , similar to convos or private chats ,maybe , so i can keep tracking of new threds and posts ,etc.
that would really be useful

2- let user be able to select a few favorited sections that shows first in his main site page , this way i can select my favorate section that i keep tracking and intrested in
