PRIVATE AV CHECK | NO SAMPLE SHARING | TRUSTED | NO HISTORY | AUTOPURGE |

We are not affiliated with KleenScan or any similar service. Our approach is built from the ground up to prioritize confidentiality and complete data isolation, something that legacy platforms can’t offer due to their vendor‑sharing obligations. Those platforms are just a wrapper around the same public VT-like ecosystem that vendors actively monitor, they are literally FORCED to share your files with antivirus companies. In fact, they even distribute submitted files to all partner vendors and rely on their definitions. That said, one of the core reasons we went with a native client is privacy: with a desktop app, your file never leaves your machine. No uploads, no third‑party servers, no vendor sharing. It's a fundamentally different approach to security, one we believe is more private and transparent

I'm not sure how else you would realistically be checking each of these AVs locally. This is how we are able to pass those files through multiple AV engines at the same time. What differentiates us is that we do not store, distribute, nor share these files. We delete them right after scanning. This is what makes our service "private" - no distribution, no storing, no samples being shared. There are many other services (including online ones) that actually store your files, send them to various third-party vendors, and even use them to train their models. We don't. I hope you realize this looks like shit and your posts above only further imply this is terrible. In fact, it screams scum! Terrible that we don't enforce a quality threshold on HF otherwise this would've never be allowed here. (Sep 8, 2026 10:50 AM)CL1B Wrote: Are you oblivious to your own contradiction? I hope you realize this looks like shit and your posts above only further imply this is terrible. In fact, it screams scum! Fair point regarding the wording. I meant to say that in a wrong way, so please let me clarify. With "your file never leaves your machine" I wanted to illustrate the client-side approach in relation to browser-based systems, where files remain on somebody else’s server forever and are transferred everywhere. In reality, what I had in mind was that files are not kept, they are not sent out, and they are not shared. They are uploaded to be scanned and immediately erased once the scan is done. To put it simply: Files are temporarily uploaded to our backend for scanning. It is impossible to perform multi-engine scans otherwise. Files are not stored, files are not transferred to vendors, and they are not used for training. By "private" we mean no storage, no distribution, and no sharing, not no uploading, which was a bad choice of words on my part. Nothing special, just a clarification. |
