Free OSINT Tool for Basic Verification

Been working on a small tool called Servsly for a while and figured some people here might find it useful.

The system actually started as something I was using privately for a while. Eventually I wanted to make it available publicly, so I built out a friendlier version that made more sense for normal users instead of just keeping it as a rough internal tool.

It’s completely free to use.

It’s basically a link-based way to get some verification info from someone you’re dealing with online.

At the basic level, a visit gives you things like IP, approximate geolocation/network info, etc. You can also make links that request a GPS location and/or a photo. GPS and camera obviously require the person on the other end to grant permission.

I’ve mostly been building it around Marketplace/scammer type situations. Someone claims they’re local, you’re dealing with a suspicious account, trying to verify a person before sending money/meeting up, scambaiting, that kind of thing.

I used Grabify for basic IP stuff years ago, but between the ads and general experience I wanted something cleaner that could also do more than just an IP lookup.

There are regular Servsly-branded links and some more advanced options depending on what you’re trying to verify. I’m still actively working on it, so I’m also interested in what people here think is actually useful versus unnecessary.

Curious what you guys would add/change if you were using something like this for OSINT or scam investigation.

This looks like a much cleaner alternative to Grabify, especially for marketplace verification. For OSINT and scam investigations, one major feature I would suggest adding is a solid VPN/Proxy and Tor exit node detection system. Most sophisticated scammers will instantly route their traffic through a VPN or an open proxy before clicking any external links. Having an active indicator that alerts the investigator if the hit is coming from a known hosting provider or residential proxy network would add massive value to the verification process. Great work on this tool!

Thanks for the feedback. I do have something built in to notify the link owner if its passing through a known datacenter but it could definetly be expanded.
