for me it's cooking, making rockets, doing chemistry experiments.. tinkering with stuff.

LMAO!!... nothing like that. Just small ones on the ground. I got into it as a kid. I had my dad buy me a rocket kit where we had to build it and it came with rocket fuel solid state.

After that while in college would make home made rockets using wood. I would use my dad's saws and grinders to form the main rocket and then made home made rocket fuel had to order to solid state stuff and would play with different mixtures even tried sugar rocket fuel. I bought an altimeter that works based on the atmospheric pressure. I then learned how to make my own devices. I would run tests in the backyard had a metal clamp to hold the rocket would lite the rocket and then time the burn for 1 minute. I tried to make different mixtures wanted to get it into space. Then people around me called the cops.
My dad told me no more at the house. I then stopped for a little bit thn used my car to move tests into the parks where people would call security and I would have to hurry up and pack things up. Never got caught. I then stopped.

I for sure will one day get back to it but I want to buy land and built a new house and then do it then. The people are just annoying here.
Anything they think you could make money out of jealousy they try and call the cops or report you to the IRS. Too many snitches here.

The cops that came I told them I am not shooting off rockets it just was fireworks. They would give me a warning to knock it of and if they come back
and they get evidence that I am they told me it violates zoning codes.

The cops here don't do shit. As long you're not straight with them and you don't make their job a living hell. If someone complains or reports you to the cops. Just move whatever you're doing to another city and you got about another month because people would hear the noises and then go online and ask what it is they say the dumbest shit. like oh it's just construction. Maybe someone doing roof work.. lol

I been trying to go to space with my rockets but it's expensive too much cost. You need a lot of fuel.

You need to go from 0 MPH to mach 3 in order to escape earths gravity. So, you need boosters and just to get a small rocket into space.
It can easily start costing at $20,000. If you want to do things legally it can then start costing $100,000 because by law you need to purchase insurance and rent space to launch the thing and get FAA permits and space clearances. Unless you have a boat or a rig in the ocean you can get around all that and still be legal. I assume doing this in the U.S.A. However, for me I just pick a spot to launch it and hope for the best. If I had to launch a rocket into orbit.
I would have to do it illegally and it would sure be at night out in a field in the boomdocks.

Not saying it's not possible. It's possible to do but I would rather just do it to learn. Not trying to be like space x. That is expensive because all the permits and you need to be right because if you do things legally and your rocket causes destructions to property you can easily get sued.
