Hello hackforums, this question may or may not have been asked before..
I turned my PC on, and went to hackforums.net.. but whenever I go;it always says "Error connecting, bla bla timed out"
I changed my ip atleast 5 times.. still the same thing. I used a USA VPN, still the same thing.
Now, one of my friends on MSN told me that my country might be blocked.. ??? Is USA Blocked? Cause when I connected with a Europe VPN, I connected fine.
Is there a problem going on with USA Connections?

yeah i think USA is blocked, i am having the same error. just wait for omni he wil fix it

I'm not getting any problems down here in Texas..
So maybe it's your ISP?

The majority of the sites traffic is from the US, so no the US isn't blocked.
I'm from the US as well, and I'm not blocked.
We had DNS fail last night. I've made changes this morning. You should be good soon. Apparently the DNS I was using has simply shut down. It was free from a member and has been very reliable up till now. Not sure what happened but it's fixed now.
I guess this is a troubled weekend.

I now have to put the www. before putting hackforums.net which I didn't have to before; That's the reason I couldn't get on when friends could :(

Please bother to read the thread next time, He's not asking if the site in down , he is asking why connections are being blocked, after reading it's most likely a DNS issue.
Btw, downforeveryoneorjustme.com tells me that HF is down, even when its up O.o

The DNS errors is because there was no response from the server earlier.
