Welcome to the FreeGFX Thread

I've taken notice to all the new artists in the Rate My Graphic section, and I've decided to help out. I'm now offering GFX classes ABSOLUTELY FREE. These classes will be public, and everyone who is registered on Hackforums will be able to view them. I'll be posting a new tutorial every week-2 weeks, which will contain a lesson (in tutorial form), a resource pack (which would include a mix of stocks, renders, c4ds, and .PSDs required for the lesson), and possibly a video lesson depending on the topic.

There will be anywhere between 5-10 lessons, each one covering a different aspect of graphics, with personal tips and tricks. Hopefully this will help a lot of people with their graphics progression, and give new artists a solid foundation to start with :). The skill range for these lessons will be beginner to intermediate. In the future I may create a more advanced series of tutorials and sell them.

This thread is merely an announcement, to tell everyone what is coming. I hope you all benefit from this :).

Been too inactive in graphics to help in your lessons, though I'd love to read the tutorials and perhaps become semi decent again.

How long have you done graphics?: 7 years ( i mean, i know its alot, but total time is about 6-7 months )
What type of graphics do you specialize in?: Animation & Text | Trying to change my style now.
What do you think you can contribute to this project?: Teach people the basic knowledge of Animating(shiny|stars|blend in/out|movements)

Thank you to everyone who has applied. I'm closing applications, as I decided I'll take this on solo. I may receive help from a select few later on in the class, but for now I'll be managing this project by myself.
