This is Lesson One, the first lesson in the Graphics Bootcamp series. If you haven't seen the Original Thread, check it out here. Simply click the image to download the lesson pack, enjoy!
There will be more of these to come, so stay tuned into the Graphics Tutorials section! It's also recommended to view my Text tutorial, if you haven't already. You can view that here
Good luck everyone. If you have any questions, feel free to post here! I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. I'd also like to see what you guys come up with, feel free to post your creations here!
Also Note: This tutorial assumes that you are familiar with the layout of Photoshop. I'll be releasing a Prologue later this week or next, which will teach someone brand new to the interface where everything is.
Tutorial: WARNING, 600x13000px IMG

Thanks .Luke :).
This one seems like more of a standard signature tutorial, but the goal is to have one at the beginning, and end of the class to assess your improvement.
I tried to cram as much of the basics and tactics in there as I could.
This will turn out to be a great learning session for members here since you are very good at writing tutorials for your great tags.
Keep up the great work, along with the great tutorials. I hope to see more, and I hope to see some of the low skilled members improve because if you.

Doesnt photoshop cost money? Where can I get it free?
Good job on this Rhythm, easy to follow, newbie friendly, and goes into some of the more useful techniques in graphics.
Clipping masks are a great way to add a stylish effect as well as successfully blend in edges without smudging/erasing.
Actually demonstrated in my current sig ^_^
