Socialites' mission is to facilitate the growth of newly registered members within our community and to enhance the quality of their interactions on Hack Forums. We strive to develop real friendships and inspire the personal development and advancement of each member.

RECRUITMENT
We are looking for active users who are an all round positive presence on this forum.
We don't look at account statistics when recruiting however we do take any negative reputation, warning level, deal disputes and scam reports into consideration when reviewing your application.
GROUP DIRECTIVE
We are aiming to be a positive presence on this forum, helping out new users and giving new users a reason to stay.
The first impression any new user gets from HF when signing up is the one that lasts. We are there to make it the best possible experience for them.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Being active in the introductions sub-forum, welcoming new users and helping them with any questions they may have.
- Interacting with new users in several ways. Every user has a reason for signing up to this forum. What we will do is get to know that reason and play into that.
- Attracting new users to this forum by posting quality content around the forum. This can be a tutorial/guide, a contest or just a fun lounge thread.
REQUIREMENTS
There are no set requirements at this time however every applicant will be reviewed to determine if they would be able to carry out the group directive and mission in one way or another.

Why do you want to join Socialites?- Was a prior member of Specialists and thoroughly enjoyed welcoming, and helping new members in the Investment Forums, as well as intermittently in the Education Nation. A Group devoted to helping, is my kind of group.

How would you try to get people to this forum/make new members stay?- Everyone is welcome here, so they need to feel that, you can see many users with low post count, why? Because most of the users are rude to new guys, the goal of your group is to change that.
Is there anything we can do for you?- For me, its enough to be surrounded with people who have same goal as i do.

Why do you want to join Socialites?- I like helping people out and sharing my knowledge and I like fancy userbars. Put these two together and you've got yourself the Socialites group. No, but, seriously having this group role would act as a further incentive for me to continue my contributions around the forum and to help other users.
Would you be able to answer general questions about this forum?- Yes, my account is a few years old now and I've got to know a lot about the forum. I also keep in touch with the rules and new announcements.

How would you try to get people to this forum/make new members stay?- By posting a lot of free guides, especially ones that require the user to reply to access the guide. I've had users make their first post a reply to one of my money making guides meaning I'm attracting new users. Not only do I offer free guides to new/existing users but I contribute around the forum to add high quality posts to a variety of sections which will help increase user retention.

Would you be able to answer general questions about this forum?
Yes I would hope after the years I have been on this Forum I would be able to give constructive information or at least redirect the user/users to the correct part of the Forum.

I have ran many giveaways a few graphic's threads which where free for all users a couple of Podcasts aimed at teaching new users about Hack Forums with more to come and a Samaritans thread with many more to come. I can provide links If needed.
How would you try to get people to this forum/make new members stay?
I would hope people listening to my Podcast may be interested In joining after hearing some members speak out about there time here. Also giving constructive criticism and helping members with there issues would make them more inclined to stay rather then being trolled.

Nothing I can think of at the moment but If I do I will be sure to let the correct person know.

Why do you want to join Socialites?- I would like to personally join Socialites so I can partake in conversations and keep the group active. I do get bored when I answer all the threads in the lounge and then end up jumping of hackforums because of it. I want to build myself a good name and reputation within the community.

Other than contributing in several threads, where I helped people I have made a few threads, mainly in the Innuendo section. I will start to make Graphic design tutorials soon in the GFX subforum.

By showing them that they can benefit from being active on HF. I would try to reach this by doing giveaways or tutorials and so on.

Why do you want to join Socialites?
I am interested in joining Socialites as I feel that a group that specializes in the new and upcoming rather than the elite and established is something that HF has been missing. This type of group is something that I have been secretly dreaming of in the forums. I would love to be a part of the process and the evident evolution of interaction through the forums.

Normally, this is where someone would post threads that they have made and are proud of, but in this case I feel that my replies throughout my whole 4 years on HF can be seen as a positive contribution in terms of making those who are browsing feel welcome. Over thousands of replies and hundreds of old reps, most were about being friendly and a good person, rather than business.
How would you try to get people to this forum/make new members stay?
Some activities that I have been planning to do but under a group that will support it would be forum-wide puzzles, chatrooms, and other social events that could be organized. These events could be bonding experiences that when deployed by the right group of people will be very influential to the forums as a whole.
How can we help each other on HF?
I decided to change the question of what can you do for me, to this, as having a mutualistic mindset is something that can greatly benefit the forums as well as each other. Providing a platform of support both as the receivers and the givers can benefit everyone in the group as those who put in will surely get out of it, whether it be through smiles, or new friendships. We can also focus on the betterment of those around us, rather than those that we are comfortable and friends with.
