Install Tor on an iDevice.

Downloads : http://sid77.slackware.it/static/sid77.s...os-arm.deb

Install :

1. Save the .deb file on your iPhone by SSH/iFunbox or iPhone Explorer.
2. Write down the name where you downloaded it. For eg "private/var/mobile".
3 open iFile and select the .Deb file and select Install. Done!

Configuration :

1. Install the Tor toggle from Cydia.
2. Toggle it on.
3. Settings -> WiFi -> Your Wireless Network ESSID -> HTTP Proxy Manual.
and set Server as "127.0.0.1", Port as "8118", leave Authentication "OFF": iPhone OS SHOULD transparently proxying any traffic through the Tor network now.

I've been using it on my iPad for a few days now and it had worked absolutely terrific. All my apps are anatomized and the speeds are fairly good considering what you're getting in exchange.

My only pain is that when I want to turn off Tor I can't just toggle it off. I have to go into settings and turn off the Manual Proxy...well...manually.

If this could be automated it would be cake.

Shanghai, I think you couldnt find the Toggle for SBSettings in Cydia. Do this for it. :

From MobileTerminal : "deb http://sid77.slackware.it/iphone/ evelyn main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sid77.slackware.it.list && apt-get --quiet update && apt-get --yes --quiet --allow-unauthenticated install sid77.slackware.it && apt-get --quiet update

Then open Cydia and update your sources, then search for Tor Toggle in Cydia.
