I have an Issue with my Acer Aspire X1300. When i first got it i installed Windows 7. I was missing a coprocessor driver. During the times of using it i had a Blue scree. every 7 houres and before the 7 houres it crashed but it was no ordinary crash. When it did crash it ether displayed a BSOD or the whole screen would go grey tried everything to shake it out but only thing i could do was Reboot it. When i installed my coprocessor (reason why i didnt install it sooner was because the Auto Updates wouldn't install it and other Coprocessor drivers failed) It stopped Blue screening and the grey screen stopped. But on occasion it still did it. When i was playing a game once it did it again. It hasnt just displayed a grey screen i've had times where the whole screen would go Dark Red or white or just black but most of the time just grey. I'm on Linux ubuntu now. It happend again as i was Booting into Windows XP with a VM. Does anybody have any ideas on what is causing this? I went to experts and they dont seem to know why its happening. The hardware seems fine. It was Pre installed With Vista when i first got it i thought installing Vista again would stop it but no still the same :( Bios maby? Any ideas? Thanks :D
