Hello people of the world, I'm trying to contribute to the forum as much as I can so Iv decided to start this thread with help people in batch. Now iv worked with batch for about six or seven years now and would like to help anyone who needs it here. Heres what you do:

1) Post a reply of the problem you need help with.
2) I will reply with a solution of my own and/or a link that may help.
3) If you find this helpful then please bookmark (Ctrl+D for Linux and Windows and Cmd+D for mac users) and rate how many stars you believe this thread deserves.
4) If you wish for your problem to be resolved privately then simply post on this thread saying so, please DO NOT pm me I will pm YOU, I do not wish to have my inbox filled anytime soon.

Thanks, ~anonym0.ous~
Why have you worked with Batch for 6-7 years? Batch is an extremely basic language and in a couple months you can learn just about everything about Batch.

Yes, that is what I am going for =)
Well then. I want YOU (OP of this worthless thread) to prove me wrong and make a keylogger in Batch!

Good luck with that. Because it's possible in both C++ and C#, and even in VB.Net.

Hmmm, this is some challenge...am I able to use vbs?

Lol no. You said you did everything in Batch. Only Batch.

You've read Batch for 6 years or whatever, so you should be pro at it. Now show me that keylogger code, or simply tell me that Batch fails :)

Hmmm, if I am aloud to use any batch syntax of my choice then this may be possible. It is extremely easy to make a phishing keylogger, but I assume that is not what you are talking about. If I fail this challenge then I will admit that batch fails and give you credit =)

A simple keylogger that is invisible and sends every keystroke to a textfile. It's possible in C++, prove me that it would be possible in Batch :)

Im looking forward to see you fail this task.
ok first of all, i think its a good thread with a good service..BUT its useless if this thread is NOT stickied. after a couple of weeks this thread will just disappear unless someone is keeping this alive....so you (OP) should get that stickied on first site..just mentioning✌

Now to my problem:
(WIN vista & 7)
For example, a batch file wants to make some registry changes or something else which needs ADMIN RIGHTS!

so normally if a user opens the batch by double-clicking -> access denied

How can you skip that WITHOUT THE USER IS DOING OR CLICKING SOMETHING? Deactivating UAC ? Make the batch start with admin rights? THE GOAL: just to have more access so you are able e.g. to make reg changes.
--
EDIT 1: (i already have an idea how one can do that and you could help me. But first i want to know if u have an idea how you can do this)
EDIT 2: forget the keylogger project....mine has more priority ;-). I do really need help^^

Could you perhaps elaborate a little? I did not quite get it... OP might have problems getting this too..

Or well, i kind of get it.. Why not just make yourself admin?

well actually in WIN vista and 7 you are already an admin. The only problem is when I want to start a batch file with admin rights:
1. normally you have to right-click on file and choose "start with admin..."
2. UAC prompt comes up (window) asking me "yes or "no"

however, I can solve those two problems with only ONE registry change BUT there is also only again one window(by regedit) asking me "yes or "no".
Only one click on "yes" and my batch would have admin rights forever..but I want to make it without clicking^^ (which user/victim would click yes for fun?)

@ OP
so im waiting for your ideas/thoughts

@ Zyx
or did u mean something like "net user administrator.."or whatever to make yourself admin on the other PC ?
As admin rights are needed for making the registry change, if you/slave are running a batch as admin, make the reg change via the batch.

You need to do something like deceive the user to give admin rights to a routine task, but with a batch file hooked onto it.

Stuff like this should be kept private until you have used it.
Oh man. I'm looking forward to see the results of this tournament. We all know Batch is going to fail badly. To make a hidden Batch keylogger that runs in the background is impossible. 6 years my @s$. When do we get the results? 2 weeks, 4 weeks?
