Here is a simple tutorial with screen shots showing you how to make a simple
web browser in visual basic 2008.

You will need these items, and place them like they are in the screen shot.

1 text box, 1 Home button, 1 Go back button, 1 Go forward button, Refresh button, 1 Stop button, 1 Menustrip (For shortcuts), 1 Go button.

Now the stop, refresh, go, back, forward, home, will all be picture boxes.
(They will not have line around them when the project is built)

Now add the code
Pictures boxes...Just double click on them so it will be picturebox_click

Now lets add the code for our shortcuts.
Just double click on each option on your menu strip as seen below.

If you would like to make it go to a website (such as your own) on start up
Under Form1_Load put

Thanks for this tut, but it is very un needed with vb.net not only because of vb2k8's auto fill but also because their are already a mass of tutorials like and even better than this one....

This is for a beginner huso, That's why I gave him the link so when hes ready
He can make a different web browser.

Anyway...

These buttons can be whatever you want, I used a picture box and double clicked
on the picture so if you click on the picture it does the function, Some
people use command buttons.

No I didn't, Mine is as the size as the form and white like the background of my form.
