More information would be nice 🙂
If you think you are infected please read THIS THREAD. If none of the suggestions help then post a HighjackThis log HERE. This will provide an analyst with what exactly is loading when you start up your computer.
I’d like to elaborate on what AsSaSs@iN said. There’s a few things that could be wrong with your machine, and I’m convinced that you’ve been infected with some form of malware (probably spyware). There are a few things you can do to treat this issue.
Check the Task Manager Displayed above, is the Task Manager. Because you see evidence of a possible virus (the Command Prompts), it seems as though it’s been poorly written. Of course, this makes it easier to treat. Firstly, I’d like to ask you to examine the Task Manager. You’re looking for an application that’s not familiar to you – something you’ve never heard of or seen before. Often, the name of the application will be ‘virus.exe’ - where the ‘virus’ could be anything. Next, should you find a foreign application, proceed to ‘ending the process' of this program. Please note that it’s vital not to end the process of any program that’s directly related with the functionality of the Windows Platform. Such applications may include ‘winlogon.exe’, and ‘svchost.exe’. Should you end the process of your virus, you should be able to rout out the problem by searching for the application (virus.exe) on your system. Post a HiJackThis Log If you were unaware, HiJackThis is a tool used to record a log of your system. From there, it can be analysed by qualified personnel. They will be able to provide you with an answer to your troubles and help you clean your system. I’d strongly suggest downloading HiJackThis from the Trend Secure Website. Once you’ve acquired a log, post it in the ‘HijackThis Log Analyzer and Tutorials’ section of the Hack Forums website. This would, probably, be the most efficient way of cleaning your system. Spyware Scans Because you said that you see two Command Prompts open when you run your computer, I’m guessing that you’ve been infected with some form of spyware. This could, possibly, be anything from a simple keylogger to a Remote Administration Tool or even a cryptosystem (backdoor). You also said that you’ve tried many scans and nothing had worked. If you haven’t already, I’d strongly suggest scanning for spyware. Slightly different from normal malware, spyware can be more difficult to find and many antivirus programs will fail to detect it. I’d recommend downloading either Spyware Doctor from the PC Tools Website or Ad-Aware from the Lavasoft Website. If you’d like any more information on anything I’ve talked about, please send me a Private Message. Thank-you. Just disable all the programs in the "startup" tab. |
