I wrote this application so that i could see how the google api works, what it can and can not do so that i could use it in another project that im currently working on in my free time. After playing with it for a bit, i soon found out that it has some issues with some of the more advanced search queries, and limits you to only 64 results. This was not a problem for me and my project, but i would not suggest that you use it as a dork scanner (for the obvious reasons above).
anyway.
I had to use a new listview control, just to set it to double buffered, i thought that having all the colors in there would make it flicker while i scrolled, and yes, it did (might just be my setup though) so, that how i fixed that problem. there is a nice little API usage in there to make the listview a little more "Smoother " looking when selecting and item (i hate that blue overlay) so it keeps the "Aero" theme. I added a custom auto-complete for the textbox. (actually, i just forgot to remove it befor posting the source), and then there is another little API in there to set the "Cue" text for the textbox when there is nothing in there.
moving on..
to build this project, you will have to reference the dll inside the "Google API" folder, and (if i remember correctly) you must keep the framework settings at/or above 3.0. After all that, your all set. Double clicking a link (item) will start the link in your default browser ("Process.start" anyone?)
so, there ya go..
i would only suggest that if your going to be using this in a mass project, double check with Googles TOS.
