So I'm in a tight bind. I have a customer's dell optiplex 740 right now, and I have to get at the HDD to get it out and backup data off it, then have 7 installed on it and to them by 7pm... Help me find a service manual online (like a pdf download) that can show me how to get out the HDD and the PSU and all that jazz, and I'll give you a reward. :)

An a related note, I should charge extra just to work on these things <.<

Why exactly do you need a service manual to take the hdd out? It's pretty straight forward. a few screws, the ribbon cable, give the molex a tug job, and boom. HDD all over your hands.
