[Tutorial] Advanced Photo Retouching (for all skill levels)

This is a class, NOT a tutorial.

Treat it as such, it isn't to show you ONE thing. It is a teaching tool that shows many techniques and multiple ways to accomplish effects.

This is a one hour Class, you dont need to watch it all at once, just watch it! I am going to cover a lot in this video so pay attention!

If you take the time to try these on an image please post them with a prefix of "HW - " so I know you did it after watching my vid.
If you have any trouble or questions i will be more than happy to answer them...

Here is the before and after of what we will be doing:

May I ask, I don't have the option to 'open To Bridge' in my File directory?

What version of photoshop are you running?
Thanks a lot. =] I'm sure there's a lot I can learn from this. =D I shall be following
I'll bookmark this thread for later. I watch the video when I get on the computer and have time (after my half yearly exams in a few weeks). I hope to learn as much as possible from these videos. I hope to keep up with all your lessons too. Thanks for doing this to help beginners or even people who just want to improve their skill.
Currently downloading :) Thanks a load! It's interesting even why it's too long so expecting to learn a lot more. This would be very helpful for beginner's like me. :) And I've watched continuous hours of tuts before, for cartooning, vectors etc. Not a bit boring. :P

So after watching the video I'll try look for a stock, edit then post it here? Is that how this class works? :P

You can post it in the Rate My graphic section so all can see it, Just mention me in the post, I follow some people closer than others and those who are taking time listening to me get special treatment... Just make sure to post a before and after so i can see what you did to it and give you good feedback!
No worries, download CS5.5 Master Collection, :D Going to do it now.

I think I do need a photo for the actual photo retouching with better resolution. Can you suggest a site or a link maybe if not that's okay. I've just watched the video and will be watching again during the process. Thanks, I hope it turns out well. :)

Just honestly look anywhere for untouched portraits...it can be a task...but deviant art has them everywhere...
