Darkcomet is one of the best free RAT and is my personal favorite too. I see a lot of threads in this section regarding some of the problems people usually face. This is an attempt by me to solve them perhaps by the solutions given below which have been described along with their problems:
Important Note
Download Darkcomet only from the official site (http://darkcomet-rat.com/). If you download from other places, then there's a chance that it might be backdoored.
Problem 1: When you check the Network Settings and do a Network Test then you see that No-IP is coming up as not connected.
Solution 1: This is a very common problem faced by people. This sometimes doesn't affect slaves from connecting to you but sometimes can affect.
To resolve this problem and get all three green, first disable your AV and firewall. If it still doesn't work then use a VPN like nVPN.

Problem 2: When I run my server on myself, I don't show up
Solution 2: First of all, This can happen because of your server being deleted by the AV and your firewall interfering with the connection. Try with both your anti-virus and firewall turned off. If this doesn't work out then try with nVPN on.
Also be sure that DUC is turned on and ports are being forwarded.
Problem 3: My slaves after restarting don't show up
Solution 3: This happens because you haven't enabled startup for your server.
Enable it either in the setting up of your RAT in the "Module Startup" section.
You can also enable it in the crypter you're going to use. Crypters such as Zero Crypter have the option to automatically add startup.
Note: Don't add in both as this can corrupt the server and prevent the slave from connecting to you.

Problem 4: My slaves are not showing up in my client anymore I believe everything has been setup correctly
Solution 4: This could be because of your server not becoming FUD anymore. Crypt it again with a FUD crypter and update your server on all your slaves.
Problem 5: How do I install someone else's server on my slaves?
Solution 5: Select the no. of slaves you want to give, do a right click, select "Extra Broadcast Commands" -> "Mass Download" and enter the direct link of the crypted server you want to spread there.
Problem 6: Can you recommend some good free runtime and scantime crypters that work with Darkcomet?
Solution 6: I'd recommend Tyna Crypter.
Problem 7: How do I update my server on my slaves?
Solution 7: This is usually needed because of the previous server becoming detected and you having to replace it with a FUD one. To do this in the bottom tab go to "On Connect" -> Command should be "Update Server" -> "Add and Configure the Task" -> Give any name -> Enter the direct link of your server.

Solution 8: Make sure that "Acitve Keylogger" and "Online Keylogger" are active in the Keylogger Window. Also Darkcomet is said to have a poor keylogger.
Problem 9: Remote Desktop/Remote Webcam is not working
Solution 9: Use the default settings. Make sure your servers are updated to the version of Darkcomet are using. For eg: If you're using v3.2 of Darkcomet then the slave whose Remote Desktop/Remote Webcam you're trying to view has the server which was setup in v3.2 of Darkcomet.
Problem 10: No matter what crypter I use, the server is corrupt
Solution 10: Don't use any settings when setting up Darkcomet except for entering your No-IP info. Use compression as "Disabled".
