Hey guys i was wondering whether anyone can hack the front facing camera of the apple products such as iphone4/ipad 2/ipod touch 4,etc.
Thanks your help is deeply appreciated.

What would you want it to be ''hacked'' to do?

Define "hack" in your sentence. Do you mean "use without user control" like a RAT, do you mean "remove, replace, or modify the camera hardware wise", do you mean "modify the camera app", or even something else?

i wish to see through the camera, and control the ipod and other apple products remotely.

Sorry i didnt specify what kind of hacking to be done

RAT's for the iDevice have not yet been created, but are possible. You could try to use VNC on the iDevice, but the user has to give approval by hitting yes on a popup to work.
