I just got a new computer recently and it seams like when i tried booting off of my backtrack and ubuntu CDs,
it always seams to have an error like "Cannot find medium for live file system". What could possibly be wrong?
It is a brand new computer with new hard drives and a new DVD drive.
And i have burned new discs and it seams to do the same thing, even with completely different ISOs and distros.

Would really appreciate some help. 🤝

Try using UNetbootin.

Try booting without the live CD.
Use something like: UNet Bootin, or Wubi.
i used Wubi for my laptop since it's an acer and it's super small, so theres no CD drive. 😊
