Subtracting text

So, I have textbox 2 which contains an number for example "14"

Now, i want a label to Say for example "the number" till blast off!

but i need that 14 to count down by seconds like 14,13,12,11 till you get to one.

How would this be possible?

Thanks.
You can either use a loop, and have it wait 1 second or however long, or you can use a timer (lot easier), and just use a if then else statement, not hard
Thats why i asked, i want the the user to input a number like 14 then it will subtract by 1 number every second.

How?
Code
checkforillegalcrossthreadcalls = false
Dim NT as new threading.thread(addressof tm)
NT.start

Code
sub tm()
for i as integer = 15 to 0 step -1
label1.text = i & " seconds to blastoff!"
threading.thread.sleep(1000)
next
end sub

You can use a delegate if you want, I'm just feeling lazy.
