An effective way to deal with scammers | A Foolproof way to counter scammers

We the members of this forum have seen many a scam report, Many of the scammers just get away scot free. I have come with an idea which might prove somewhat or the other good for the buyers and their protection against scamming.

Suggestion:-
1] UserBar:- If a person is found guilty of scamming he should be made to wear a user bar like "Scammers" this will prevent the further scams that he may commit in the market place.

2] Forum Blocking:- Blocking him from accessing the marketplace forum and denying him permission of posting in any of the threads there.

3]Warning wise:-A special warning should be issued if he is proved as a scammer, So that us the upgraded members would be able to view and guard ourselves from it. The expiry of that warning could be anywhere between 12 months to 8 months

4]Rep wise:- His rep page must be cancelled out further, that page must be replaced by something from the administrator as "Scammer ahead deal with caution".

I hope that this, My suggestion if not completely atleast partially be considered such that buyer protection becomes much more stronger in HackForums.

Best regards,
Heaven and Hell,
Only a fool would think that this is fool proof. Everything here has been suggested and denied.

Think I am fool? Could you in any way substantiate your claim of calling me a fool. I don't expect every thing here to be implemented at least a few from this can be put on the board.

Why so? Care to point out its uselessness?

If they do get to like it they might as well lose there rep and get a Warning the 3rd and 4th point is just for people who are inclined to get that userbar for the lulz.

If you can't explain or voice out your point I'm afraid your IQ is less than a house rat. Some points that i put forth i know are quite hysterical but it isn't all laughs when a person gets scammed.

The first point is a fail itself. A person can never be found guilty officially since it is made very clear that staff will not interfere or be a judge in scam reports.
i say create a new section " List of Scammers" and for every scam that has been proven and is found guilty be put on that list in bold red letters. That way when new members or people on the site can read this with the rules and all the important info first. for example

..
List Of Scammers
..

1. XXbeetleguiseXX
2. FaFa12
3. 45ZooPile

(*Note Be aware with caution when dealing with any sales or deals with them for they have scammed in the past. This list is just a reminder for your marketing safety.)

..
Thats an example...and random names i just picked..anyways then when someone reports a scam and has proof they can post in this section as well and if proven they did indeed scam should be put on this list.

Fail? Clarify with the Help Docs
Marketplace Safe Trading
and please answer me back with your queries.

The staff cannot always interfere in a scam report, But an admin can which is,
A scam report is filed--->Staff's are allowed to see if it is the scammer is found to be guilty with proof-->Staff's then forward this report to the Admins for further approval.

Okay. Let me make it more clear. Omni has already said in the past that actions will not be taken against scammers. HF does not do all that. (neither admin nor staff).
All deals are at your own risk.
I like the second suggestion the most, sounds like a good way to stop most scammers, PM's could also be used to "sell" though.
Even though staff do not judge scam reports it would be great if there was one moderator of the deal dispute section and had the ability to give users a picture that would show up in every post (next to awards?) that said Trade With Caution.

But also it was said that there might be occasional check-ups on scammers, that was what was been put up on the Help Docs. If omniscient himself doesn't want to take action against a scammer why would he have "scam reporting" in the Help Docs?

Yes, But the instance of another scam occuring would be greatly reduced.

The Scam Reports section is designed to alert other members of scammers. It also can serve to help resolve an issue between members. We can't get your money back or force a member to complete a deal. Do not PM staff. Our staff on occasion will ban a scammer, if the evidence is on site and apparent. If you got scammed, we would appreciate it if you report the scammer by making a thread in the scam reports section, with the following content:
